LA protests - how did we get here?
Kind of like the storming of the Capitol on January 6th. Only, this was to protect the due process rights of undocumented persons in the USA instead of a**wipes who claimed to be patriots.
It's not the first time I worked in an area where mayhem erupted. Remember the Rodney King beating (03/03/1991)?

People who get angry in big cities can do a whole lotta damage; burn cars, throw projectiles at people or windows. Protective forces can counter in kind with rubber bullets, tear gas, water hoses. It turns into one big ugly mess.
The Executive Director of the Medical Center closed the building on the Monday after the protest weekend. He told us to stay home. The call center staff and receptionists, however, were deployed to the medical center to work. Sorry gang.
