    "Even more puzzling is that there is no clear constituency for this, other than Netanyahu himself, the Israeli right, and a few Israel-obsessed Jewish-American billionaires, such as casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. The cause of moving the U.S. embassy has some traction among evangelicals and far-right members of Congress, but this isn’t exactly a vote-winning issue. Most American Jews don’t care; most Christian Zionists will vote for the Republicans anyway. Just like the Republican tax cuts, the only Americans who benefit from the U.S moving our embassy to Jerusalem are a few hyperideological Republican donors."

    Big Sheldon has given Trump over 125 million to move the embassy to Jerusalem...about 14 miles from its current location in Tel Aviv. 196 nations are opposed to this unilateral move by Trump.

    Trump Jr. caught in another lie.
    Emails have surfaced of follow up communications after the Trump Tower meeting with the Russians to get dirt on Hillary Clinton.

    One suggested that Trump get a page on the Russian Facebook site, VK, a popular site among right wing wing nuts in the U.S.

    The top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, Trey Gowdy, is refusing to meet with the whistle blower who reported on Flynn's texts about ripping up the Russian sanctions.
    Representative Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat:
    Cummings believes this is an effort to protect Trump.

    I think it's going to come out with the Intel Committee despite the Oversight Committee's oversight. But that is a shame. If you ask me the Oversight Committee should have taken the initiative, though I don't know much about their bureaucracy. It could be that if Oversight so much as touched it it would be inadmissible or some such nonsense.

    But, it looks bad. :)

    "WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J.Trump slurred his speech during his announcement about Jerusalem on Wednesday because of “low-battery issues” with Vladimir Putin’s remote, the White House said on Friday.

    Speaking to the White House press corps, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that Trump’s slurred speech was “a case of what happens when President Putin doesn’t change the batteries in his remote frequently enough.”

    “President Trump makes public appearances several times a day,” Sanders said. “In the course of those appearances, President Putin’s remote can drain its battery very quickly.”"

    Here's the latest.
    Trump, Trump Jr., and other Trump organization members received an Email which included a website and the encryption key to the stolen Wikileaks documents.

    The email originated from some guy (Mike Erickson) who nobody wants to admit to knowing. It arrived the same day that Trump bragged about knowing of the "thousands of documents" that Hillary sent with the "C" for confidential marking.
    This is all one month before Wikileaks released the data.

    It also offered Trump the stolen Colin Powell emails which were released by Russia ten days later.

    So what does this mean?
    Let's suppose I rob a bank and then stash the money in a locker in the Hoboken, New Jersey bus terminal.
    I then send you a letter telling you that I have just robbed a bank and deposited the money in the bus locker, and you are free to go get it and use it to destroy one of your business partners. And I include the locker number, location, and key.

    Well this is great you think! And you call up your rival and tell him, "Hey, I'm coming into a pile of money and I'm going to use it to destroy you!"
    You hang up the phone but then begin to have second thoughts. "Wait a minute", you think, "This is stolen money, I have knowledge of the theft, the money was stolen for my benefit, and possession of the key and the money is illegal!"
    So you immediately call the FBI and report the theft.

    Just kidding.
    We're talking about Trump.

    What you do instead is run the money through a third party, and then use it to destroy your rival.
    In this case the third party is Wikileaks.

    You set up a slush fund and use it to get a third party of unsavory characters to burgle the headquarters of your political opponents so that you can dig up some dirt on them to use against them. Something goes wrong with the execution. You deny you had any links with the dirty group that did it. You first demand an investigation to get to the bottom of it. You even consider a money laundering scheme to pay blackmail that would keep the cap on the bottle and you would claim that the hush money came from some committee in another country such as Cuba. But when an investigation starts closing in on the facts that implicate you, you start firing the investigators and pretend to the media that the scandal is no big deal. Your allies in Congress and the religious community were initially on your side and cling to your version of the story. Eventually even they can't deny the facts that show your guilt, and they no longer support you. Then you start making arrangements for your successor to pardon you and your associates after you resign.
