I'm embarking on training for a new career. Not that I've ever had a real career lol. It's proofreading and copy-editing. I will be studying online. When that's done I will start the copywriting course. I will be able to work from home as a freelancer when I've qualified.

I'm excited and looking forward to studying.

i never really understood the whole "rush to the store because its going to snow a bit" thing

no one here does that..even if we got 10 feet of snow (which we never do) it would be cleared within a few days....

most snow i can remember is maybe 2 or 3 feet a few days in a row and thats fairly rare ..most storms pass in a day

 

We had a dusting of snow this morning but it's all melted now.

Some places, in Greater Metro Atlanta, got 10 inches of snow yesterday.

I'm going to have to bring the Have A Heart trap into my bedroom to catch this semi-feral cat that ran in this morning.

She's never let a human touch her and she's been under my bed for a few hours. The other cats keep messing with her.

 

I don't get it either. Here it usually melts off the road by noon the second day. Even if someone had no food in the house at most they would not have food for like 18 hours lol

 

i havent even shoveled anything yet this year

the first few dumps melted within days...the last one stuck around but is still not enough to bother plowing or shoveling

 

Curious indeed. One would almost assume americans have some kind of obsession with food

 

I'm going to make a Chicken, Veggie, Cheese Casserole today.

I've never made it but it looks good in the pics.

 

I drank a double Chai with Honey and got sleepy AF!

I guess I'll have to get up, dress, and move around.

my buddy just informed me he has monday off and wants to go hunting

 

one of my more annoying clients just dropped in and gave me a $25 gift card

 

There are severe snow warnings across much of the UK. But the weather in London is as so often characteristically clement. Sometimes I feel bad that we Londoners always get away with it, and Scotland gets it.

 

i assume you mean single game? i think even the browns have had players rush for 6 touchdowns in a season.

 

I don't mind hunting as long as it's done for food.

I changed one string of my outdoor lights to the xmas colors. For the rest of the porch, I have to pull the staples that have been holding the old xmas lights around the windows and doors before I can replace them. Most of them don't work any more.

I might do some tonight or I might wait and hope it's not as windy tomorrow. I gave hubby my fingerless gloves last year and he can't find them. I have more on the way but Old Navy can't tell me when they will be here.

Anyway, the semi-feral is still under my bed. She may live there until she dies...

I was on 4TD at half time then right at the end when I'd already won by a mile with 2mins to go usually id just kneel down and run the clock to a win but I thought the hell with that I want a record. So i lined up in run formations and threw deep balls to the 3yard line then ran in another one.

I heard it's bad sportsmanship to do that in an NFL game when the other team conceded and won't use time outs to stop the clock at the end. It's a gentleman agreement to just kneel. But not when a record was on the line. not with Irmi in charge of the front office in Denver.
