I swear that cat is going to die of old age under my bed.

 

There’s actually a clinical condition called Snow Phobia first recognized by psychiatrists in Buffalo, NY back in 1978 - one year after The Great blizzard of 1977.

The very mention of snow would create feelings of depression or extreme anxiety in their patients. Fear and paranoia would send them scrambling to the stores to purchase milk, bread, and other food staples.

We got 5 inches of snow, although it’s still snowing lightly, looks like you may have gotten more.


Hard to tell sometimes when the snow is so wet because it compacts.

 

Metro Atlanta had snowfall totals for Dec. 8th and 9th of anywhere from a trace to 13 inches.

I was on the trace end.


We finally were able to run that cat out of the house after it spent 18 hours under my bed.

 

We just found a great way to trim the dog toenails. I present to you, the dremmel drill. Lol.

He took it really well much better than files or clippers.

 

I stand beside my dog and stand on her leash. Then, I reach down and pick up her paw to clip the nail.

She didn't start having her nails clipped until I got her 3 or 4 years ago. She's 10 now.

 

Vets use these now... Seems to work well, on dogs.



You'd rarely get a cat or a bird to put up with it unless they were restrained... and you wore armor.

 

Feeling like garbage since yesterday. Sort throat, sinus crap. Ugh.

 

Gargle with salt water.

Drink some ACV mixed with water.

I need to check the weather and see when this wind is going away. I'm not keen to go work on the xmas decorations outside in the cold wind.

Owls are eerily quiet. One night a couple years ago I went out on my porch to star watch for awhile just after it had gotten dark. As I turned to walk back to the door I noticed a barred owl sitting on the gutter at the corner of the house, staring at me. About startled the piss outta me.

 

Snow here! Yay!

 

I've had the do nothings all weekend.

I think I'll drag my sorry ass to the shower and try to wake up after that.

 

I need a Retired Coffee Mug Display Rack.

 

I've got a cold to get rid of...anyone need an excuse to get out of work tomorrow and Tuesday (at least)?
