That's pretty cool. And you do that for a job too? I think that would be fun. Does the plow move up or down or stationary in one position? I'd be afraid I'd start digging up the road lol.

doing it for pay requires commercial insurance ...and everyone wants it done in the morning so no...i dont do mornings

its not unusual for people to have plows for their own places...we get a lot of snow here....i only do mine ...sometimes i will plow my sisters or help a neighbour but not all the time

it goes up and down and angles side to side with hydraulics

could you hit something with that, say a raised up manhole cover. would it break the plow, or does some kinda springy do keep it from doing that.

probably 20 guys here that have plows too....neighbors truck is in getting fixed but he said its mine to use for wood and to tend to his dogs...its a full size Toyota 4x4 pick up...i cant wait...be so much easier...

.he also has a snow blower for the front of his big tractor that he is lending to the neighbor in exchange for doing our driveways so my shovelling days may be mostly over

he can control it with a long stick tied to the plow and extending up the side of the truck to his window....its tricky but we are Canadians and used to adverse weather :)

I made models all the time as a kid with dad and I always seemed to do well in projects where you had to make things. I got help from my dad though lol.

One project was to make like a cannon out of popsicle sticks, like an old civil war type cannon. We made a old like fleet ship with 36 sails out of a milk box.

For drama lama class we got to make two medieval knight helmets which well I'm sure they don't exist anymore but they used them for school plays for years in HS.

Dad also helped me make a parachute so we could throw an egg off a building in science class and have it not break. It failed miserably though lol and the basket turned sideways and the egg fell out.

winter is probably not the best time to have the fast food review. wendys. blah, salty as hell I ate a burger and fries now my tongue has one those salty ulcur .. my review is horrible for this store close to my work and its been newly remodeled .. floor was soaking wet, with salt, outside walk was just salted no effort into clearing it off salt, icy spots or snow.
as I was leaving an old lady, tiny 80ish . wanted to cross the street to rite aid. and I said how about i just ride you over there. she was hesitant . but I told her mama i work for a company that reviews the restaurant. I am not a murderer. lol .. much easier that crossing a 3lane icy roadway. I helped her in the car and out to rite aid and departed.
