It's a good name...strong name...It is hard to get cute with the name ,. though, like I do with my other pets...Moxy Moo Moo for instance....so sometimes when I am talking cute to Grayson..I just call him Gray Gray.....Stan calls him Snoodles. I have no idea why. Gonna confuse the poor cat....lol
Just Finished Friday Lunch and Trying To Decide Wether 2-15pm Is Too Early to Pour A Glass Of My Fave Bubbles I Bought Today....??? Damn......"Will Power".....More Likely "What Power"..??....Yes I Caved In..... Cheers Glen.
I am not bored, and I am sorry that you are. too much to do, as always. My neighbor, the great guy and dad to the 4 year old ....who lives there with his dad and his second wife, also, came over last night with his sister and her boyfriend. his sister is the one who wanted me to go to Florida to help with rescue dogs. She did not wind up going to Florida last year. She is a grade school teacher....and could not take the time off last summer.... Anyway, she and her boyfriend, and her brother, my dear friend and trusted pal.... came over with a big gift for me....I shower her with Christmas gifts every year, as I do all people there on Christmas every year......I really like her and her brother...They refresh me and make me know there are wonderful people in this world...... Her boyfriend made a speech that it was her idea to make this....a big, heavy framed piece with all animal photos and quotes about treating animals like you would all living things. It really is very beautiful, and one of her quotes is in the piece...a collage of sorts.....and her boyfriend has a quote and photo in it also.....and there are many from many people. She said..."since you love animals as much as me, I hope you like it...."....They worked long and hard on this thing....Her boyfriend does custom framing and makes reproduction print artwork pieces for people and things......I said I was afraid to put it on the wall, not knowing were the studs are or knowing how to safely hang something like this.....and he told me he was also a handy man and he would come back over any time I call and put it up for us....Oh, oh....lol i don't really like to hand things on walls around here.....so i don't know what to do. Anyway, of course, I love it...it is so thoughtful and full of love......I want to do something special for them....hmmmm....maybe a real painting of mine at some point....animals, of course. The neighbor son is over here quite a bit,,,but his sister never was before. It was her first time over here, and i was happy to have her and her boyfriend over......and told them they would have to come back over for dinner at some point soon. They got to meet all of my fur family members here, and I brought Grayson downstairs for them to meet also. It was a wonderful, unexpected evening.
life would be so much easier if every bed had a toilet 6 feet away it would make dying easier too i suppose
Well, they say everyone is dying after birth.....one day at a time, but i don't concentrate on that....No one knows what tomorrow brings.....so live life to the fullest each day.....and to thine own self be true.....as Shakespeare said...and he did say it all.
Just finished a cup of tea. Took my granddaughter back to her parents yesterday and helped my son fix a leak in a connection to one of his cast iron radiators. Thought we'd have to shut down the system and replace the valve when it was only 4° F. outside. But we closed the valve and took the radiator off, cleaned up the fitting with 400 emery paper, stuck on some pipe dope and reassembled it. Turned on the valve. Then we ran out and bought spud wrench to take the spud outta the radiator. But when we got back......no leak! House is nice and quite now, 2° outside. Time to check the pellet stove.
7:10 & 23 seconds a.m. cst. Collecting all year+ old receipts, junk paper one collects during a year+, rubbish......ect. All being fed to the burn barrel.
Chillin out but enjoying the fact that the outside temps are over the freezing mark for the first time in nearly 14 days.
i went out for the first time in a couple of days...did a small job changing a battery for someone...then got back just in time before the roads got too bad
