I said I would support a fund to send back those that are unhappy to be here, and complain about how this place treats them. There are groups of Americans that think they are being treated horribly. I am in no way afraid of immigrants taking my jobs. In fact they work harder than large groups of Americans here. I am afraid of the constant outflow of money to support the ones that come here, don't work, have babies and become a financial drain on what we already have here draining us.

As to your minimum wage argument, we can agree to disagree. Show me a model where raising the minimum wage to $15 works and I'll show you as many examples of where it doesn't. Every time I have seen the minimum wage increased, what follows is the rise of prices all around, to negate any gains it was meant to address. Pay them more, the cost of everything goes up. The only ones that it cost more, are the ones that are buying the goods and services that those making minimum wage provide. What will happen to those that make $15 currently that are higher than minimum wage jobs? Now you have to raise their wages. It is an ever escalating cost to produce everything.

Bottom line, get skills that allow you to make better than minimum wages. McDonalds should not be your career path if you intend to make hamburgers your whole life.

I personally love immigrant workers that are willing to work. They BITCH far less than any other employee I have. They do the job, don't complain and show up for work. If they find another job somewhere else, I wish them well and draw from the vast pool of the rest waiting for a chance to work. No hard feelings whatsoever. Now force me to hire them, and then force me to pay them $15 an hour and I stop hiring. End of discussion for me.

 

The Libs have expected that from the Republicans for about 8 years. LIke it or not (and I don't like Trump), they have a voice now. I call them the same thing that the Dems called those that elected them. Disenfranchised and ignored segments of voters. Obama drew in a slew of them, now Trump has.
