    hahah, so true

but: Money should never change you, you should be the one that has influence. not the other way round. What I do during work/business is exactly how I AM private. It reflects my personality and character. and i promised to never change for a dollar. IMAGINE how these iliterate rappers must feel when they spittin the mic with all these hate, profanity, violence, misogyni and then go back home and sleep. What is in their head when being alone? AND most importantly ----> WHAT do they have to be proud of for their children? Imagine JayZ´s children: "let me listen to what my daddy is singing" and they only find hate, aggression,"iam better than yaáll" , cussing etc. You think theyr proud of their father? Would you encourage your children to do the same?:smirk:

I am not a Hip Hop historian but I don't believe Hip Hop started off as a lucrative music style. One of the reasons why I think Hip Hop has had such an enduring legacy in popular music is that it's culture was well developed before it ever started making a lot of money in the music industry. This video I posted below says Afrika Bambaataa was throwing Hip Hop parties in the late 70's ~1977. There were brief moments, a couple years after that, where Hip Hop drew some mainstream attention in music, like Rapper's Delight by the Sugarhill Gang and The Rapture by Blondie but it wasn't really until about 1984 when Run DMC came out, that the genre started emerging with mainstream success and more authentic artists of the culture. If we consider other movements like the original Psychedelic Rock movement, from Acid Tests to Altamont, it had come and gone within that timespan.

Get it now, get it fast, get it right
Get it big, get it live, get it done, get it tight
But you don't really hear me though
I spit it clearly so it's live out ya stereo
to you heart while it's beatin' in your chest
Speakin' to execs and then see behind the desk
(Listen) to your spirit, nothin' weaker than the flesh
So while you try to keep it fresh you gettin' deeper into debt
Real hip hop is missing from the shelf
Yea, that's what you felt when you listen to yourself
Only a few is makings cuts that vintage
So before you spend your heard earned spinach

Once upon a time, I was young and everyone was 'Beatles' crazy, but I went to the opera house instead.
Music tastes are very personal and have little to do with your origins or upbringing.

are you referring to my avatar? it's some british singer, i forget her name.

i like sports. they are fun to partake in, improve health if you do it right, and teach all kinds of life lessons, especially at the youth level. i just don't like basketball specifically. it is not fun to play, it's pretty much impossible to accurately officiate, and it has developed a culture that encourages people to act like assholes, at all levels of play.
