The logic used to argue against responsjble gun ownership...is the problem. Hmm? Interesting mental gymnastics. No. First of all, I don't even know of anyone who is arguing against responsible ownership . From my perspective the problem seems to be that when people argue against IRresponsible gun ownership, the gun nuts jump to conclusions and think someone's going to come forcibly take away their guns. When no one is proposing that at all. All the gun control measures i've heard suggested over the years are pretty restrained and reasonable. The problem seems to be that gun "proponents" (to be polite) refuse to compromise and institute reasonable gun control measures .
If we believe your point we still need gun control. People can not handle it anymore since after all they make the gun fire. They are most important part so if they are fucked up no guns for anyone no matter how much you think you are a special snowflake who can handle it. So thank you looks like gun owners can be reasoned with. Long term you will probably not be happy but you seem to get why you will not be happy.
And there is the lack of parents correcting certain behaviors that need attention. Parents have failed to be parents.
The kid who did this was orphaned twice. Both of his adoptive parents had passed away recently. Just sad all around
I just don't know what to say anymore. This happens, we do nothing, it happens again, we go, "How could this happen?" Then we do nothing again, it happens yet again, and we again go, "How could this happen?" And it's not that I don't care, but if these near constant shootings aren't going to get people do address this problem, then us whining about it on a message board sure as hell isn't. And, truthfully, I'm emotionally numb to it. It happens so often, that I just kind of go, "Again?" Kids getting shot in school is becoming like hearing about soldiers being shot in war. It's just kind of what happens. And the fact that it keeps happening over and over and over and goddamn over again with no response from those with the power to prevent, society is saying, "We're okay with it."
I am not going to explain everything again. I will now point out that (1) on February 28, 2017 Your Palzy Walzy Trumpy rolled back OBama restrictions on the ability of mental health patients to buy guns. And (2) Your Palzy Walzy Trumpy accepted over $30,000,000.00 (that's over thirty million dollars) from the NRA (That's the National Rifle Association to reverse Clinton & Obama era restrictions on gun sales. So, I know that Palzy Walzy Trumpy likes to use the word "Reciprocal" however, now I will use "Equivocation" and insist there is no Equivocation between Democrats and Republicans...none what so ever!
Not really sure but It’s my guess there was a run on Mannlicher-Carcano Rifles (the same one owned by Lee Harvey Oswald) shortly after the JFK assassination
Yiz guys should copy paste all your comments to a notepad.. That way you can use them next week all over again.
if the armor is level 3 it can. but its kinda hard to shield your head and heart at the same time with a single backpack.
Have you even looked up what equivocation means? First of all being against Clinton doesn't make me for Trump. I'm not that thrilled that he was the best that the Republicans could do. However I recognize that he beat out all of the other Republican candidates and defeated the "shoe ion" Democrat and became president on his first attempt at trying to. So while I may not care for him, I respect that you don't accomplish that by being stupid or not carry out a better executed race. I am not happy that Trump rolled back that restriction. Nor am I happy that he is abandoning some (not all) of the environmental stances we had in place. These disappoint me absolutely. But he is the CIC and he has the ability to do these things, much like Obama and his shenanigans. Like Obama, I will try and enjoy the positives and endure the negatives until he isn't in office. For you no Republican will ever be OK. And that is the basic root of our political process in America. People vote the party, even if the one they vote for sucks.
Today, in a suburb of Atlanta, off campus, someone was being shot at so they ran into the school to take cover. The shooter is still at large. Um...Lock the freaking doors during the school day. You can buzz parents in if you need to. That idiot could have followed the would-be-target into the school and could have been shooting inside the school. Person being shot at runs into Fulton Co. school for refuge
