    What does that mean? They still have a relevant sound :p I thought the only relevant aspect is if people (more importantly: me :p) like it.

    Some music is timeless. Puccini can still conger up 2 million views on you tube with a single excerpt from a work written in 1898.

    I agree. But even that is kind of subjective. Opera haters couldn't care less if the lovers consider it timeless to name an obvious example ;)

    I saw BS in 72' in Columbia S.C. ....it sucked....it was like going to a church of Satan mass...real creepy.

    I have never found an opera hater. Most people who claim not to like opera have simply never listened to the wide range of music that it includes.
    When Zeffirelli made his film of La Traviata everyone thought that I was crazy to suggest opening it in the Haymarket London. However my venue recommendation committed the company and it went ahead. Fortunately for me, it broke the theaters box office records, but for my sins I was on sound control and had to watch it 700 times. Not a bad punishment. LOL
