Remington files for bankruptcy. Now Trump's handlers can send him to Remington with cue cards that read "How may I help you?" and "I hear you." U.S. gunmaker Remington files for bankruptcy Tom Hals, Jessica DiNapoli March 25, 2018 / 9:54 PM U.S. gunmaker Remington files for bankruptcy
Trump chose his resort instead of attending the March For Our Lives rallies. Pence raved about a faith-based movie. Trump can send Pence on a trip to Indiana to protest the kneeling of football players during the National Anthem but he can't show up at a rally for the benefit of children. What Were Mike Pence and Donald Trump Doing During March for Our Lives? By Amanda Arnold March 25, 2018 10:11 am What Were Mike Pence and Donald Trump Doing During March for Our Lives? excerpt: "The president and vice-president, to absolutely no one’s surprise, were noticeably absent from any of the 800 worldwide March for Our Lives rallies Saturday against gun violence. Turns out they were separately indulging in two of their most beloved pastimes: golfing at Mar-a-Lago and thinking about faith-based pop culture, respectively."
Why Trump is replacing his generals with Fox News tough guys Joel Mathis March 23, 2018 Why Trump is replacing his generals with Fox News tough guys These are scary times. So what the heck happened? "The answer: President Trump's masters of war turned out to be insufficiently belligerent. He fancies himself a brawler, wants to surround himself with other brawlers, and the restraint shown by the old generals in questions of politics and policy finally broke his limited patience. Out with the negotiators. In with the the guys who want to fight. And if the new guys don't have as much experience with actually fighting? No problem: At least they talk tough on Fox News." "The president fancies himself a fighting man. This week, he tweeted out fantasies of bloodying Joe Biden; it's only been a few weeks since he suggested he would've confronted the Parkland shooter even without a gun. He talks about executing drug lords, throwing military parades, and turning the cops loose on criminals: The man did a stint in professional wrestling, for God's sake. If the Republican Party ever really believed in speaking softly and carrying a big stick, those days are gone. Today's GOP president believes in loudly letting everybody know about the size of his stick."
Yes, like California violating the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, which we talked about in the other thread.
You just exposed your self. This is about hate. This is about KKK and Alt Right being empowered by Trump. This is about Trump and Pence courting the White Supremacists. This is about Christian Right Wing Extremists who support Trump...the embodiment of hate movements in America.
Always blows my mind how people can years latter be so upset over Obama and claim everything now is a justified response to him being mean to white people. And with a straight face say Trump does none of that. It's simple you were already racist and a black president worked you up. He was also democratic so even if he was white you would hate him but less so and for different reasons.
Not sure where you feel it reveals anything about me. You are the one educating me on the rise of hate groups and claiming Pence told you that he was a member of the KKK. Until you said this, I thought the KKK was a southern hate group that was long ago extinguished. It's been very educational. And I'm certainly not religious or Christian. It looks more like you don't want to take responsibility for the idea that the left has been they very reason that racism is worse now than it was 8 years ago.
It's true his race ended up making no difference. And yes his policy's have helped shape America. I voted for him his first time out. Learned my lesson.
Having a black president shone a spotlight on racism. It isnt worse than 8 years ago, it just seems worse because people aren't sweeping it under the rug anymore And you can't blame racism on anyone but racists. The rise of white supremacy groups is the responsibility of white supremacists. You cant give them a free pass by blaming other people, it doesnt work like that
So what was their status before the Obama years? I'm asking as I'm not the one that knows every state chapter of the KKK. I never heard about the white hate groups until recent years. And the Russians have admitted they fed into racism in their trolling efforts. It obviously existed as a hot button topic to ignite. I have been hearing the blacks discuss racism since I was old enough to understand English. Yet that is blamed on whites too. Interesting how no matter what direction it comes from, the left blame the right voting whites to be the reason.
Ok..so my point is, why are you blaming this on people who. aren't. racist. It doesnt make any sense. You're just scapegoating "the left" You shouldn't be blaming racism on anyone who isnt racist Oh to answer your question, hate groups *have* been on the rise in recent years but they've always existed. There are many besides the KKK. And as a side note, the SPLC also classifies black supremacy groups as hate groups, just so no one thinks whites are unfairly targeted .
Who are the ones who aren't racist that you refer to? If Trump is a racist for not denouncing white hate groups, how is Obama not a racist for not denouncing the black hate groups? Is racism more or less a problem now than it was 8 years ago? 9 now. Can anyone provide evidence of black hate groups Obama denounced?
"The left". The group on which you blamed as the very reason racism is worse now than it was 8 years ago, remember when you did that? Just a few posts up. BLM isnt a hate group. I'm not sure what other groups you're referring to that Obama should denounce but I did see you mention BLM. I also saw you mention Jesse Jackson LOL, he was the black guy people loved to demonize in the 90s. He's old news now and he doesnt belong to a hate group anyways
Yes and you said those that aren't racist. So you're saying that if Obama does the same thing as Trump by not denouncing a racial hate group, that is not racist and the other is? Group or philosophy. If it's the same, it should be denounced. BLM so far just hates cops. So I agree they may not be all the way over to a complete racial hate group. Hatred is hatred. The Dems are supposed to be against hatred.
Isn't Obama out of office? Hasn't Clinton faded away? Isn't this about Blump? I don't know why you guys bother. Never the whys about black lives---just the results of living with racists for over 200 years. If I had been enslaved, told I was stupid and criminal , disallowed to eat where I wanted, denied education, live where I wanted, had to step out of others way because they were white, worry about being lynched-------I'd be super pissed. Yes Blump is obviously a racist. As I HAVE SAID BEFORE, IF HIS CROOKED FATHER HADN'T GIVEN HIM A BUNCH--A YUUUGE BUNCH OF MONEY----he'd be selling used Buicks in some shithole town---with his little OK signs flashing in the corner of ones eyes. "she's a good one--you can believe me--only 300,000 miles on this baby (flash the OK now). It's a 75 model--best they ever made, you can believe me." He's as dumb and phony as it gets.
People aren't asking Trump to denounce hate groups just because they exist, they want him to denounce them because they supported his candidacy so strongly. I don't recall Obama receiving the same level of support from black supremacy groups, do you? I dont personally care if Trump denounces anyone, I wish people would stop forcing apologies and just let one's words and actions or lack thereof speak for themselves BLM's mission is to call attention to police brutality and systemic racism within law enforcement. That's a bit more nuanced than "hate"
