Even though I love my Fender I do have kind of a hardon for one of these:

My Ibanez is a cheapo, but it plays and sounds great....I also have an Ibanez electric/acoustic mandolin, but I don't have a pic of it yet.

 

Even the cheap Ibanezes are decent quality. I have an Ibanez bass that I got for $75 and it plays just fine. Could use some better pickups, though.

I'm in the market for a semi-hollow body. I tried an Epiphone and it was a Chinese piece of crap. So I've settled on an Ibanez for the price and quality. Just haven't decided on the model. Maybe a used one and then replace the pickups.

 

The one that I posted the link to is about $7,000. It's got a built in MIDI controller, and Piezo bridge pickup. I think it might even be almost a custom shop instrument.

I have a 1996 Parker Fly Deluxe. I love the guitar and now only use my Stratocasters for practice. I am new so do not know how to post a photo.

 

I think this guitar might be cursed. Ima get rid of it.

Put my strat in D♭ tuning digging the metal tone..

 

Sounds nice if you drop top E to D too. Play A, D etc.

 

Then E minor 7, D sus 4 or something

 

Generally, if there are tuning issues with a guitar, it is often cured with a simple setup.

 

You should go <B bro like my telecaster with the fat ass Ernie balls strings.
