Stories are circulating that Trump wasn't on good terms with Todd Brassner, the man who died in the fire. Trump was known to be fond of Brassner's late father, Jules Brassner.

This one is not a false flag. It looks like an attack by Israel -not their first- to force a change in Syria.

The FBI just raided Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s office
Records related to Cohen’s payment to Stormy Daniels were reportedly seized.
    By Andrew Prokopandrew
    Updated Apr 9, 2018, 4:44pm EDT

The FBI just raided Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s office

"Cohen’s own lawyer, Stephen Ryan, told the Times that Mueller had made a “referral” on the matter to the US Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York. It was that US Attorney’s team, not Mueller’s, that ordered these raids.

So one possibility is that Mueller discovered evidence of Cohen-related wrongdoing separate from the Russia scandal — for instance, campaign finance law violations in connection with the Stormy Daniels payment — but decided to hand that investigation off to others in the Justice Department rather than pursuing it himself.

Since the Wall Street Journal broke the story of Cohen’s hush money payment to Daniels in January, there have been questions about whether the payment violated campaign finance law. Made in the final weeks of a presidential campaign, the payment seems motivated to help out Trump’s election — but it’s far above the maximum that one individual can legally donate. If the money was in fact from Trump himself, that would raise questions of why it wasn’t appropriately disclosed."

Who Is Geoffrey Berman? New U.S. Attorney Could Investigate Trump In Manhattan
    By Max Kutner
    1/4/18 at 12:44 PM

The U.S. attorney who could investigate Trump contributed to the president's election campaign

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Wednesday named Geoffrey Berman to succeed Preet Bharara as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York on an interim basis, 10 months after Trump fired Bharara in a purge of all federal prosecutors. The U.S. attorney in Manhattan is crucial because the district is home to Trump Tower, where a meeting between Trump campaign officials and Kremlin-linked Russians occurred in 2016."

Trump's circle jerk meetups can have meaningful outcomes.

While in an orgasmic state after another self-praise meetup in W. Virginia (the one that was supposed to be about taxes where he threw his notes into the air), an elated Trump on AIr Force One unexpectedly came into the press pool area and finally answered a question about Stormy. Trump said he knew nothing about the hush money, a statement that he will now have to defend and one that could incriminate Cohen.

Trump would have been better off if he had remained silent about Stormy.

FBI raids the office of Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen

FBI raids Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen's office, leading Trump to attack Robert Mueller

    excerpt:

"Cohen has said he was not reimbursed by either the Trump campaign or the Trump Organization. Last week, President Trump denied knowing about the payment, telling reporters on Air Force One that he didn’t know where the hush money came from.

If Cohen used his own money and acted without Trump’s knowledge, it could be considered an illegal contribution to Trump’s campaign and put him in legal jeopardy. In addition, legal ethics rules bar attorneys from settling a claim without their clients’ knowledge or using their own money to fund settlements."

Trump firing U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara in 2017 and having Sessions replace him with Geoffrey Berman doesn't seem to have helped Trump in dismantling what he claims is a Deep State plot against him. Trump personally interviewed Berman.

Trump needs to decide his next move which could involve firing Sessions and/or and Rosenstein and finding someone to fire Mueller. He could also try to somehow replace Berman with someone he thinks is more favorable to him, which he already did when he fired Bharara.

Trump blasts FBI raids on his lawyer as ‘a disgraceful situation’

Trump blasts FBI raids on his lawyer as ‘a disgraceful situation’

    excerpt:

"The search warrants for Cohen’s records were almost certainly approved by Rosenstein and other senior officials at the Justice Department. Rosenstein has said he is keeping close tabs on Mueller’s investigation. In addition, due to the sensitivity about attorney-client records, Justice Department regulations require that search warrants aimed at a lawyer be approved by leadership in the department’s Criminal Division.

The current head of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan is Geoffrey Berman, who was appointed on an interim basis by Sessions in January. Trump advisers have indicated he wants to nominate Berman to the job on a permanent basis but no formal nomination has happened, due to opposition from Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) and public silence from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.)."

Trump's Deep State conspiracy is becoming more difficult to believe, as even the people he has selected were needed to sign off on the type of a raid that was conducted on Cohen.

The Justice Department had to go to extraordinary lengths to conduct a raid on top Trump lawyer Michael Cohen
    Allan Smith

The Justice Department had to go to extraordinary lengths to conduct a raid on top Trump lawyer Michael Cohen

    From the article:

"One reason was because the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, which obtained the warrant, thought that not only was there enough evidence to obtain such a warrant, but that there was enough to get a warrant of a lawyer's office for their client communications, as investigators sought communications between Cohen and Trump

"That's a very fraught and extraordinary move that requires multiple levels of authorization within the Department of Justice," he wrote, adding that federal agents "are only supposed to raid a law firm if less intrusive measures won't work."

Such a raid requires both high-level approval and an "elaborate review process."

Authorization for such a warrant comes from either the district's US attorney or an assistant attorney general, as The Washington Post wrote.

Another reason the raid was important was because a federal magistrate judge signed off on the warrant. That means a judge found probable cause to believe that the locations subject to the raid contained specific evidence of a federal crime.

" ... the Magistrate Judge knew that this would become one of the most scrutinized search warrant applications ever, and because the nature of the warrant of an attorney's office is unusual, you can expect that the Magistrate Judge felt pretty confident that there was enough there," White wrote.

Wait, let me try to articulate the counterpoint you'll recieve for posting the news that the presidents lawyer is under investigation for campaign finance fraud.

"Fake news. You're a snowflake. LAWL. Everybody does this. You're just jealous you couldn't star in Home Alone 2. Crooked Hillary."

    And so forth.

This is almost exactly what happened last at this time. Prepare for Trump to launch 59 cruise missiles at one of Syria's air force bases thus destroying any evidence or lack of evidence of Syria's alleged chemical weapons stockpiles.

The deep state wants to keep us at war, for profit.

I mean for god sake, the present-day Afghan war broke the record for the longest war in US history.

But for this, I think this is a reckless game of political chess that could blow up in Trump's face (and the USA) if he bows to the deep state. He sang a different tune about this issue when he was a candidate.

Why do you believe a "deep state" is not able to corrupt the Republican party? Don't you think a man like Trump is where he not because he's their enemy but because he is their friend? He could be dead tomorrow but the right view seems to be that he scares everyone so they can't touch him. He's nothing but a casino owner with a fragile ego. A man who is not very rich by 1% standards yet craves the praise that he is. There are so many ways to play him.
