Might as well give Trump the Peace, Physics, Chemistry, and Medicine prizes all in the same year and again in the next year. Trump would claim he knows all of it better than everyone else. Messer: Give Trump the Nobel Peace Prize by Tony Cook Published 5:38 p.m. ET April 27, 2018 Messer: Give Trump the Nobel Peace Prize excerpt: "Congressman Luke Messer, who is seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in a tight three-way primary contest in Indiana, wants to nominate President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize."
Trump's budget proposal in 2017 showed an outright lack of concern for the Appalachian region and other areas that have high poverty. He wants to dismantle the Appalachian Regional Commission and 62 other similar agencies. Trump is known for visiting cozy elite venues to make his campaign-style speeches, not walking through the poverty stricken areas. Trump gave a speech in January 2018 at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Convention in Nashville, TN. He told voters how privileged they are that he gave them the opportunity to vote for him. He raved how farmers would benefit from the repeal of the estate tax that was in the 2017 tax bill. There are less than 700 estates that are wealthy enough and have any farm assets to be able to benefit from the repeal of the estate tax. Trump’s budget would cut funding for Appalachia — and his allies in coal country are livid By Brad Plumer Updated Mar 17, 2017, 10:06am EDT Trump’s budget would cut funding for Appalachia — and his allies in coal country are livid excerpt: "So it’s striking that President Trump’s first budget proposal would slash and burn several key programs aimed at promoting economic development in coal regions — most notably, the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Economic Development Administration. In recent years, these programs have focused on aiding communities that have been left behind as mining jobs vanished. Even some of Trump’s staunchest allies were livid at the proposed cuts. “I am disappointed that many of the reductions and eliminations proposed in the President’s skinny budget are draconian, careless and counterproductive,” said Rep. Hal Rogers, a senior House Republican from a key coal-mining district in southeastern Kentucky."
#5 many trump supporters feel they are deprived of jobs or income because of minorities. then again, I doubt many whites would want to work picking fruit.
So? You proclaim to be all about "facts" but you ignore them when it comes to biology concerning grizzly bear hunting in favor of whatever non sense emotional argument or faulty untrue logical argument you have.
What specific aspects of grizzly biology do you have in mind? There is also human psychology to keep in mind. Does it make you feel more manly to hunt grizzlies? But isn't that emotional? Why Men Trophy Hunt: Showing Off and the Psychology of Shame Why People Trophy Hunt: Unpacking the Psychology of Status—and Shame Grizzlies in the lower 48 states occupy less than 4 percent of their historic range. We lost some 98% of former grizzly bear numbers and 97% of historical distributions in a 150-year period and “recovery” in our two largest Recovery Areas regained virtually none of former historical populations and only 2% of former distributions. Grizzly bears have one of the slowest reproductive rates among terrestrial mammals. Grizzly bear females stop breeding successfully some time in their mid- to late 20s. Females take 10 years to replace themselves in the population, so killing just one female could impact the local grizzly population for the next decade; killing 14 could be devastating. Grizzlies are keystone predators, having a major influence on their ecosystems. https://www.counterpunch.org/2018/0...ar-recovery-and-distinct-population-segments/ https://www.patagonia.com/blog/2018...r-trophy-hunting-proposal-threatens-recovery/ Op ed: Wyoming shouldn’t allow grizzly hunts Overkill - trophy hunting slams BC's Grizzly bears The Fight to End Grizzly Bear Trophy Hunting Is Heating Up in BC Why are grizzly Bears endangered? | KnowsWhy.com Grizzly Bear Recovery Program Grizzly Biology & Behavior - Western Wildlife Outreach
Actually, I think the fact that their incomes are high means that they really just want America to be a mostly-white country. They want to return to 1950s-style nuclear family type households where everyone is white, has white Christian values, girls are girls and men are men, men work and women clean, and they don't have to put any effort into understanding other cultures, religions or customs. Obviously this isn't going to happen, but they want to believe that it can. The 'foreigners are taking our jobs' argument is just an expression of that sense of helplessness and loss of status in the modern, multicultural society. The wall is about their desire to feel safe from things they don't or can't understand. MAGA is their attempt to get back to their childhoods (most of them are older) when there was maybe one or two minorities in their community. There are poor whites who have latched onto this as well, but I don't think the reasoning is so different. Nobody seems to want to believe that racism is a bigger problem than the economy, but I think we have enough evidence at this point to stop being so charitable.
Grizzly is an endangered animal and all hunting has been not allowed in any National Park. Yellowstone is a National Park. Why are Republicans trying to open it to killing of protected animals?
Too many bears. North Cascades, Less than 20 in 9,500 sq. miles. Selkirk Mountains, 70 to 80 in 2,200 sq. mi. Cabinet Yaak, 45 in 2,600 sq. mi. Nobody is talking about hunting in Yellowstone NP. Or Colorado San Juans. See how your fancy statistics are misleading. Here are a few worthwhile articles. Leftists nutjobs in BC ended grizzly bear season this year. Population of 15,000 bears and a quota of 400 tags issued for the season. Most of the feminists, teenage girls, gay men and limp wristed leftists that took part in the illigitimate poll to pass the law live in Vancouver, far removed from the issue.
And by the way... My home state of Nevada began a black bear hunting season about 5 years ago. To the left's dismay. I put in an application for this coming season. Sorry not sorry lefties. Teddy is going down.
In Colorado we banned the spring bear hunt because hunters kept killing the mothers and left the babies to die without mothers. I don't understand why a hunter would kill a bear if they are not going to eat the meat? And what kind of hunter eats bear meat? Which class do you fit into?
I ate bear meat once when I was in Alaska. It has a spicy tinge to it that isn’t like anything I ever had.
