I'm not intimidated by people, I accept everyone is different, but I am me! treat me with respect, it will be returned! Treat me will mallis, you probably won't like me!
You insult me, then I won't return the same, because I will pity your inability to find the words in your brain to do it with tact!
Would I insult you? No, I don't resort or respond to people with low vocabulary!
I'm in control of me, entirely!
If I have something to say, I say it!

In my life, I have lost my temper many times and regretted the things I said and did. Where I could not control myself. Now, I have a better sense of calmness. It has taken some time to get to this point.

not enough to expect to be effective in politics or diplomacy (in THIS life. in some of my previous lives these played a major role.
of course there's a degree to which previous lives are speculative, as actual memories do not travel well in that absence of a living physical brain,
however, much can be extrapolated from the complex of preferences and perspectives more generally referred to as spirit or soul,
also some of these previous lives were on worlds with the technologies to make 'backup copies')

more then enough generally to avoid annoying most sane people and keep myself out of trouble.

i am also aware that there are times, when people don't really 'get' what's going on without allowing yourself to express some anger.

its not a thing i ever enjoy having to do, and generally motivates me to avoid likely situations in which this might arise.

i do find the romanticizing and rewarding of aggressiveness, illogical, annoying and often offensive.

also inconsiderateness to be the lack of moral character.

my cage can be rattled, my strings can be pulled, i am generally successful in avoiding causing physical damage as a result,
as for depression and phsych injuries, i make no guarantees.

some people, when they insist on doing so, earn them.

I've read that those who swear often actually have an IQ higher than those that don't, on average.

I have more control over what I say than the OP because I am not constrained by the imposition of moralistic editing that he has been indoctrinated/brainwashed by.

and you got the quote wrong, it's "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks"
which in essence means that a persons true motives, intentions and nature will eventually be revealed in what they say and do, regardless of how they appear or present themselves. Very much what we are currently seeing with the Trumpster.

damn JW's, always twisting scripture around.....

Over your speech with others? I'd like to think I'm easy going.

Do you make fun of people? No, I have more fun making fun of myself
Do you get angry and swear at some? On occassion but rare (Sorry bro, you know who you are)
    Do you listen? Yes
Just wait for your turn to talk? Yes. I try hard to respect ongoing conversations. I'm very patient.

I've decided that my New Year's resolution will be to make adjustments to my style of communication so as to take the bite out of the way I express myself. For example, I will now use the word frick as a substitute for the word fuck. And if anybody has a frickin' problem with that, you can stick it up your frickin' ass (ass is in the Bible, so . . .). In other words, don't frick with me or I'll frick you up, ya frickin' fricker.

I sometimes regret things I've said. Here and there I just say what comes to mind. I think there's certain people at certain times when my speaking so unhindered is alright and other situations when it is not.

About your inquiry about whether I listen or wait for my turn to talk, I think I tend to do both. I've been more into just listening though for awhile now. I may give a one word addition to a conversation to keep it going and let the other person speak more.

IDK -- I do think my speaking skills could use some work.

I have pretty good control but on occasion, have gone off. But normally I walk away or stop texting or pming etc. It depends if I respect the person. If it’s a disagreement with my husband, for example, I will be more willing to resolve the conflict. If it’s someone I don’t respect or know well and they’re rude etc...I just never finish the conversation. Just turn my back and move on.

I rarely if ever make fun of people. I don’t get angry or swear at anyone except the odd time online lol
I listen and I wait my turn to talk. I’m pretty chill, I like to read people and figure out their personality so I can manipulate them. Omg did I just admit that? Fuck it’s the Wine! ITS THE WINE! I don’t really do that. Snickers...

I do lose me cool, but only at bad drivers, and they can't hear me.

As far as listening and waiting to talk, I do this, especially out of courtesy. I hate being interrupted when I'm speaking to someone. However, my daughter still hasn't caught on to this, and how much it annoys me when I'm speaking to my wife, and she blasts into the conversation with some buuuullshit. I tell her it's rude, she still continues to do it. Stepfather drama....

Oh they hear me good or at the very least they hear my horn.

When I first started driving 25 years ago I thought it was bad but over the last five years I’ve never seen so many drivers
who simply disregard stop signs and red lights - it's unbelievable.
