It was so warm out today. Went from 53 and raining to 90 and sunny in one day. Love it.

It has been in the mid 70s to low 80s here the last few days. I am enjoying it while i can because i know it will be insufferably hot soon

hubby took the boys to the drive in. its been 30 minutes and i am freaking out a little/ lot.
so im going to do some dishes, and maybe try to have a bath. i never have time for a bath. but i should do more laundry too...
nothing quite like a night off, even if its an anxiety-ridden night. it wont be wasted as long as im productive.
but also, its 8:15 here, and if anything goes awry, during boys night out at the drive in, i was here, at home.
and it is totally reasonable to let hubby watch the kids for a bit. my anxiety is unreasonable, but i cant do shit about that.
so im going to try and be productive.

For what it's worth, your response to the anxiety seems pretty reasonable. That's really all anyone can do.

2am and the kitchen troll is still bouncing off the walls. grated I can manage to get some sleep still before work but ffs. Im pretty tired from raking asphalt. the gas company dudes gave me a ton. of course I had to do all the work and fast as it was cooling quickly tamped with their plywood sprayed with kero and run over by the car. come out pretty good for what i need in the ruts.

I'm tired too. I didn't get much sleep last night or this morning I may have gotten a few hrs broken in the morning, I was getting a small nap but do you think auntie Jocelyn is allowed? No. The answer is no, and put to rest any thought I may have ever had about having children. All those nonsense screaming and yelling and carrying on moments. It's utterly rediculous. Would it be rude of me to tell them off? Especially the 4 year old, I mean, if there's no need for it, then I feel like I should be able to have words with him. He's perfectly capable of understanding and I feel he's at a perfectly fine age to start learning some life lessons. Such as, if you don't hold onto your drink cup and you drop it because you aren't paying attention and it spills all over the floor and you start screaming aimlessly about it, well tough shit you don't get bought another juice cup. And just because you woke up 20mins ago full of beans doesn't mean you go into someone's room and start hitting them to get out of bed when they're asleep. No. I was furious at that. Little shit. I'm very tempted to smack a shoe on the bench on the kitchen when he's asleep to wake him up for life lesson #2, it's not nice is it?

Though I feel it's probably more to do with the upbringing because I'm constantly shaking my head at my sisters ways. She just leaves it to the other sisters to have words with them instead. No real control, let's them do whatever. I admire those parents in the shopping mall with their silent, respectful kids that are polite and just look around and take everything in instead of trying to knock it out all down with ballistic sound barrier screaming for the sake of it. Now we were raised to be good, behaved kids. And whats the point of telling a kid "No" if you're just going to give in when they have a tantrum? The kid knows it, and he gives that little bratty smirk too when he gets his way. Kudos to the folks who actually parent. It really bothers me ay. Yes I ought have words with this one. Anyway.. I'm tired. :p

I can't get drunk if I'm even a little tired. One drink and I'll fall asleep sitting up on the sofa.

There are kids in this neighborhood who scream like a murder is occurring while they are playing outside. My kids never did that crap. It doesn't even sound like fun is happening.

I can't imagine having them indoors.

my one neighbors kid did that, told them not to be screaming like that because if they was hurt we wouldnt be paying attention since they scream to much. they stopped screaming so much. impressed they caught the cry wolf concept on the first time
