We're actually studying the straw policy in my Environment and Natural Resource Management class. It discusses government policies that effect the environment. I don't know that much about this one though, except that my teacher mentions it in class. Yesterday she had some stainless steel straws that a student gave to her. Also, my mom seems to remember when there were paper straws. I think they may bring that back to avoid plastic waste.

So bummed...it's Bri's night shift Thursday.

I'm fine being alone and I'll miss her and all that, but it means I can't watch Game of Thrones tonight :(

Thinking of going to a painting class this weekend. I wish I was an artist, that would be a cool profession.

I know whats in your cookies, lots of carbohydrate and sugars. :yum::yum::yum: But that is not a problem as long as you don't eat them all day and then feel to lazy to walk a few yards to the shops.
Likewise, most fast foods are actually quite good quality. The problem is that so many people eat them additionally to their meals, rather than as a meal.
I see soft drinks as a far greater problem, since they mostly contain so much sugar that is absorbed faster than your body metabolism and simply convert into fat tissue. Corn syrup is by far the greatest problem and although being a known cause of type 2 diabetes, people just ignore the risks.
If children walked to school and we all walked to work, half the problems of people being overweight would be solved overnight.

Do go, it is always nice to have an artistic hobby when you need to relax and unwind.
Just be careful when painting your first portrait of your husband. You don't want to give him too many grounds for a divorce. :yum::yum:

    lol ;)

I think it'd be a nice way to relax, agree. Taking a spinning pottery wheel class would be pretty cool, too.

That would be the challenge. Have to pay the bills.
