today i'm expecting to go pick up my pre-reg packet for blfc at gsr.
yesterday plumbers showed up to install a gyser, which they plan on doing today.
(it takes 20 min for hot water to get from a central system to the furthest units and i'm in one of them.)

well registration opens, or intends to, at noon. progaming doesn't start until 4p/16:00.
so i suppose its no biggie. they ought to be done by then.

so from whenever i can lock up and leave the 'house' until monday,
biggest little fur con is where i'll be most of the time.
although since i didn't get a room there this year, i'll be coming home to sleep every night.
its actually close enough i could actually walk it if i missed the last bus, and the last bus is around midnight.

still a longer way then i care to walk anymore, and there is a bus.

so i'm looking forward to being around people who are more human pretending to be animals,
then most of the people i'm otherwise surrounded by who don't.

when i was little, not everyone as yet had their own cars, and grocery stores all delivered.

i was 12 in 1960, which was the year the small town chevy dealer, who was the brother of the pontiac dealer who was also the mayor, started selling volxies, along with chevy's.
i've always prefered a cargo type van to any other kind of car.
the cars i've had, mostly half or three quarter ton pickups, obviosly haven't always been.
but that's the only kind its ever made sense to me to want.

(though what i'd really like is to see solar powered narrow gauge trains replacing anyone having to have a car, even in the tinyest villages)

There was a wreck on the interstate in my county.

Nine people in a SUV and all were ejected during multiple rolls.

An 11 year old girl died.

There were 6 children in that SUV. It had Arkansas tags and was Northbound.

I'm thinking about giving Emma a bath.

I have to use gallon jugs of warm water because she's horrified of the hose and the shower.

Fuck mate I had one Lasted at least three years Worst shit I ever went through My dad got an Injection that cured his I asked for it but they suggested Physical therapy so I asked what that involved and they told me they would keep moving it so I said I can move it myself (which I did ) but that took six months of swinging my arm like a Cricket player ! My advice to you is keep moving it ! There are medical reasons for that but I am Thick Just do it !

It rained here and left it steamy. The sun is out again.

I bathed Emma. She loved it. No trauma. No drama...Just about 12 gallons of warm water and gentle shampoo made with Catstille Lavender Soap, vinegar, and coconut oil.

I think she nodded off during her bath.

Finished off our Thunder league season 1 in 7th in points, not bad consider I missed 2 races, 10 top 10s in 12 races, 4 Top 5s and a Win @ Daytona. :)

I was actually doing alright tonight I was fastest in opening practice, qualified 4th and I was top 3 most of the night but I had the fastest guy in our league behind me and I ran into turn 1 too hard and scraped the wall, which wasn't too bad but I decided to come into the pits and got a 15second penalty for coming in too fast which was frustrating because I practice all night not doing that. Then I came out like 14th and Raced my way back up to 7th to finish it off.

Now we have few weeks break and then back into season 2 which is different because we are going to do it every fortnight which I think was a good idea because practice and testing and racing just the one series weekly is very racing on spare time so to give us a fortnight is much better and also much better for me so I can actually put concentration back into my pool playing which severely lacked this first half of year and my results showed that. So I'm grateful we go fortnightly. :)

Tired after doing nothing much. I hate FMS.

My laundry is folded and put away, Emma's bedding is in the dryer, Hubby has dinner under control, thankfully.

    3 years :anguished:

They hand those injections out like candy here, pretty much everyone I work with gets the injection for one falling apart body part or another. I thought the same thing about physical therapy, complete waste of money to do what you can do at home for free. I've been doing some yoga and it has helped a little but i've got a pinched nerve going on too so if I move my head a certain way its searing pain from the base of my skull down my arm. I guess i'm going to have to break down and go see a doctor

    You know it.

I had my Monster during mid-late afternoon.

I'll watch some youtube while I eat dinner, walk Emma, then hit the Hulu.

I'm watching an Aussie series, "Offspring". It's a fun show about a disfunctional (normal) family. The main character is a young, female obstetrician.

    Poor hubby.

His brain sort of fell apart while he was searing the pork chops.

I had to go in and rescue him.

There are lots of times, recently, that it takes our two brains or two bodies to complete one task.
