McCain is a liberal Republican. I've liked him more than not. I wish he would have won. But he will be missed.

This is about the 4th time you've been positive about obstruction and collusion.

Too bad Mueller went to law school. He still hasn't charged it.

What was evident before trump, was that government was kind of humming along, even though there were/are big differences between the parties. Now it's all bullshit / incompetence, bluster, DRAMA , day after day after day. I suppose we'll survive this obvious clusterfuck--but it's going to take a period of time even if the dems re-take the house and senate.

Mueller will deliver his findings to congress. Charges come as he goes along. I think he has 18 on the docket already.

I doubt it. The liberal agenda is resist, civil discourse, fabricate, never let up.

Gosh a year ago it was the Russians, now the left is praying on a pornstar.

If that fails I'm sure there are 20 more waiting to be launched.

Better hope you're right, because for each one that fails, Trump gets a more solid devotion from his base than ever. The left may well be slitting their own throats if they don't come up with something soon.

The Democrats will have to go to work right away to repair international relations, environmental damage, institutional structures of government agencies, damage to government services for the poor, the old , the disabled, repair financial protections to consumers, and repair NASA. Trump damaged NASA today in the area of work they do on environmental studies. It's like the Republicans want to hurt the American people with all they've done to us!

Republicans Fill Court Seat They Denied To Obama For 6 Years

Republicans Fill Court Seat They Denied To Obama For 6 Years

    excerpt:

"After years of denying votes to Obama’s judicial picks, McConnell is now aggressively moving forward with filling those empty court seats with young, conservative, lifetime judges. Trump has been nominating people at record-breaking levels, and many of his picks have records of being anti-LGBTQ rights, anti-abortion rights or anti-voting rights.

“This is my top priority in the Senate,” McConnell told conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt last week. “By appointing and confirming these strict constructionists to the courts who are in their late 40s or early 50s ... I believe we’re making a generational change in the country.”"

Trump White House quietly cancels NASA research verifying greenhouse gas cuts
    By Paul Voosen
    May. 9, 2018 , 2:00 PM

    http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2018...s-nasa-research-verifying-greenhouse-gas-cuts

    excerpt:

"The agency declined to provide a reason for the cancellation beyond "budget constraints and higher priorities within the science budget." But the CMS is an obvious target for the Trump administration because of its association with climate treaties and its work to help foreign nations understand their emissions, says Phil Duffy, president of the Woods Hole Research Center in Falmouth, Massachusetts. And, unlike the satellites that provide the data, the research line had no private contractor to lobby for it."

The latest gimmick on Fox & Friends is for guests to point at the camera and say, "I'm talking to you, Mr. Trump" because they know there's a good chance he's watching.

Opinion | Horror of Being Governed by ‘Fox & Friends’

    excerpt:

"I never saw the show as anything more than a carnival, a propaganda tool for conservatives. I would never have thought that the show’s hosts would emerge as the most influential in American media, as the website Mediaite dubbed them.

This show, with its kindergarten-level intellectual capacity, moved from parroting conservative policies to constructing presidential priorities. “Fox & Friends” has essentially become Donald Trump’s daily briefing.

Countless media outlets have written and talked about the strangely intense connection between Trump and the show.

As The Guardian put it, “The show manages to serve as a court sycophant, whispering in the ear of the king, criticizing his perceived enemies and fluffing his feathers.”"

Trump was told about the two women who have claims against Schneidermann in 2013. He tweeted that Schneidermann would go down ...way back in 2013. An attorney just filed a request for a protective order to prevent the FBI from raiding their place like was done with Cohen. Cohen was mixed up with these women back then too. It does not pass the smell test.

I have no problem at all with Muslims. As long as they are legal, productive, gain citizenship and don't try and blow me up.

All Muslims I know are pretty fine Americans.

82% of all wealth created in 2017 went to the top 1%, report finds

    excerpt:

"The gap between the rich and the poor is widening year after year. For every $10 made, more than $8 went to the richest 1%, a report by Oxfam claims. Meanwhile, the bottom 50 percent of the world’s population saw zero increase in their wealth.

“Last year saw the biggest increase in the number of billionaires in history, with one more billionaire every two days,” the report reads. “There are now 2,043 dollar billionaires worldwide. Nine out of 10 are men. Billionaires also saw a huge increase in their wealth. This increase was enough to end extreme poverty seven times over. 82% of all of the growth in global wealth in the last year went to the top 1%, whereas the bottom 50% saw no increase at all.”"

What's really amazing is how you are willing to put your faith in a compulsive liar who blatantly announces his ignorance and narcissism on a daily basis.

Trump is extremely flawed as a politician and a person... I don't know how anyone could attribute any of his glaring issues to a liberal conspiracy. Well, actually I do, because I know what the right has become, but it never ceases to shock me. You wouldn't accept any of this from a Democrat, wouldn't be the least bit skeptical even if there was zero evidence... and your outrage would be endless. Yet because he's on your team, you dismiss it all as a non-issue.

Most Republicans can see how bad Trump is... they just don't care because their irrational hatred and mistrust of 'the left' means they will accept anything provided it doesn't involve the Democrats. Apparently you are even less aware than that.

    It's how they control you.

And the tax cuts passed this year will make the situation much worse.
"Civil discourse"? Is that now a sin in the Republican lexicon? News flash: its still the Russians. The porn star is gravy. So far, nothing has "failed", has it? There won't be a Mueller report until after the election. Why not just let the process take its course? If Trump has nothing to hide, he'll be exonerated.

After talking tough about issues, Trump is known for his watered-down, window dressing approaches that protect the entities he claimed he would avenge.

    This is yet another example.

Trump lets drug companies off the hook

Trump lets drug companies off the hook

    excerpt:

"Drugmaker stocks rose handsomely the day President Trump outlined his new plan for bringing down drug prices–which means Wall Street doesn’t think his plan will work.

Earlier this year, Trump declared that drugmakers are “getting away with murder” through the high prices they charge, and he said the government would bid more aggressively when buying drugs. But his formal plan to lower drug prices, unveiled on May 11 after several delays, does not call for the one move many experts believe would be most effective: A new law that would allow Medicare to negotiate with pharmaceutical providers. Medicare is the largest single purchaser of drugs in the country, yet federal law prohibits the giant program from negotiating on drug prices. Instead, it relies on private-sector partners to get the best prices.

That apparently won’t change under Trump, which is a big victory for an industry that spends $280 million a year lobbying in Washington, more than any other sector. Instead of freeing Medicare to flex its market muscle, Trump is calling for a variety of other reforms and new rules intended to improve competition and force drugmakers to lower prices to get customers. But the uptick in share prices of companies such as Merck (MRK), Pfizer (PFE), Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) and Eli Lilly (LLY) suggests investors believe Trump’s plan won’t impact prices enough to threaten revenues or profits."
