A sleazy remark about McCain by someone on Fox News. Fox has since distanced itself from the guest.

Fox Business Guest Defends Torture: It Worked On John McCain

    excerpt:

"A guest on Fox Business Network touted torture as an effective way to extract information from prisoners, claiming it “worked” on Sen.John McCain(R-Ariz.).

“The fact is ... it worked on John [McCain],” Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney told FBN’s Charles Payne on Tuesday. “That’s why they call him ‘Songbird John.’”

“The fact is those methods can work and they’re effective as former Vice President [Dick] Cheney said,” McInerney continued. “And if we have to use ’em to save a million American lives, we will do whatever we have to.”

Follow the Money: Three Billionaires Paved Way for Trump’s Iran Deal Withdrawal

    excerpt:

"Trump appears absolutely determined to undo as much of what Barack Obama accomplished as possible. In addition, the sheer perversity of his personality may well explain today’s action. But it may also be useful to follow the apocryphal advice that Watergate’s famous “Deep Throat” offered to Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in All the President’s Men, particularly in the unbelievably corrupt swamp of the Trump era.

Indeed, today’s unpopular announcement may have been exactly what two of Trump’s biggest donors, Sheldon Adelson and Bernard Marcus, and what one of his biggest inaugural supporters, Paul Singer, paid for when they threw their financial weight behind Trump. Marcus and Adelson, who are also board members of the Likudist Republican Jewish Coalition, have already received substantial returns on their investment: total alignment by the U.S. behind Israel, next week’s move of the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and the official dropping of “occupied territories” to describe the West Bank and East Jerusalem."

Any nearly everything Trump does is anti Muslim, anti Iran, anti Palestinian, and anti Muslim immigration.

I don't have faith in Trump. I didn't vote for him. But I have more faith in Republican methodologies to bring this country back than I do the Liberals. And yes I trust the liberals less. Trump didn't do that. The Left did.

I may end up having the Republicans in a few more years. There are many things I hate that Trump has done.

I also think 85% of the problem ain't Trump.

Not a sin. There you go trying to make it confrontational already. Foolish perhaps. Counter productive. Yes. Costing us in civility, productivity and world views yes. None of those are sins. Just stupid. It's making our country look foolish. As long as you don't complain if it doesn't work out for you, we can get through it.

I, like most of us, have learned to tune it out, ignore the agenda, and work on the things that matter. We will always find a way around the problems. We did during Obama and we will thru Trump.

Maybe. But for the first time in History some of the middle East is starting to feel like Isreal should be recognized as a valid state.

That hasn't happened under anyone else's administrations efforts.

Saudi remarks on Israel signal key shift

I'm sure there is no way in hell the left will ever allow it to be due to Trump's policies.

And you very conviently leave out the fact that we have some strong Muslim nation's allies. KSA, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Quattar, to name a few.

I'm tying to make it confrontational? Your post characterized "the liberal agenda" as " resist, civil discourse, fabricate, never let up." That struck me as somewhat confrontational. I think when we have a narcissistic, corrupt, vile, unprincipled, incompetent oaf in office, resistance is the appropriate course. Keeping that bum in office makes the country look foolish. I don't complain just because things aren't going my way. I'm complaining because I think Trump is a real danger to the country, our constitution and the world. Whether we "get through it" or not is in question, and complacency is not the answer.

That's an absurd remark. "Some of the Middle East is starting to feel like Israel should be recognized as a valid state" since Israel's peace treaty with Egypt in the Carter Administration, and the Arab League offered recognition in return for creation of a Palestinian state. Jerusalem is sacred to three great religions, and now we're supporting one in its claims to make it its capital. Do you think that helps peace in the region? The Arab League doesn't think so. Arab League warns Trump against recognizing Jerusalem as Israeli capital

    Yeah, I saw that.
Mr. Bonespurs doesn't like McCain, and while I disagree with most of his politics, I respect the man.

McCain was shot down over North Vietnam on his 23rd bombing mission, Mr. Bonespurs was probably golfing at the time.
He broke both arms and a leg upon ejection, almost drowned and then was bayoneted in the groin and foot and had his shoulder crushed by the North Vietnamese who captured him.
His wounds were not treated and he was beaten in an attempt to get information, which he did not give.
Eventually he was placed in a hospital for six weeks where he lost fifty pounds. then he was placed in a cell with two others, he was not expected to live more than a week.
Three months later he was put in solitary confinement for two years.
During his solitary confinement the NV's offered to release him but he refused unless every prisoner who had been capture were release before him as per the military Code of Conduct.
He developed dysentery and was bound and beaten every two hours for four days, leading him to attempt suicide.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bonespurs was back in the States playing the role of a rich playboy.

    Eventually McCain gave in....
He then received two to three beatings a week because he refused to sign any more documents and due to his refusal to meet with anti-war groups.
He was imprisoned for five and a half years and is still unable to raise his arms above his head.

He never gave away any information to the enemy.

Trump received a 1Y classification for an unknown reason in 1968 after being rated 1A (only called in a national emergency, the classification was dropped in Dec. '71). In Jan. 1972 that was changed to 4F.

Thank you for noting McCain’s military record. I too am a bit uneasy about some of his politics, but those who fail to respect him are jackasses in my estimation.

New GOP bill to require pictures of Trump in post office. They do that in North Korea as well and it was a HUGE deal for Obama to have a picture in schools without any law. It was liberal indoctrination (even though both Bush's were also there at the time). Usually school kids have a pic of the president but the double standards are as usual hilarious. Is the post office the same? Not really but kind of the same idea.

Let us all pledge allegiance to our orange but dear leader class. The GOP forgets so quickly and bitches no one will work with them.

GOP bill forces post offices to display pictures of Trump, Pence

, some on the right say that McCain caved to his captors, and that he is not a true hero. It's the same bullshit they pulled on Kerry.

Remember when trump said he didn't like people who got captured? Then why is he so enthralled with the three released captors from Korea?

Trump has stated that his Vietnam was taking the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases while being a playboy.

McCain said ''No, he's a good man''. He did the right thing, a concept long dead in the republican party.

Kerry betrayed his fellow soldiers. Some may claim McCain “caved” to torture. I doubt they would hold out so long. McCain is a hero.

Jerusalem was recognized as the Capitol by the U.S. in 1995. You might want to look up who was president at that time. Trump has done nothing but followed thru with what was already made into law. Go ahead...bitch all you want. Trump didn't set this in motion. He simply chose to make hay while the sun shined.

Again now we have KSA stating that we need to recognize Israel as a nation. This is a HUGE shift in climate.

You confirming that resistance is the chosen course just validates what I stated as the agenda.

Resist all you like. The world is watching. Trumps approval ratings are on the rise. I doubt his voter base has shrunk. He has accomplished a 2.9% economic growth in his first year and a half. Meanwhile the great Obammy said the U.S would never see 2% ever again and he had 8 years to try. I hope Trump gets defeated, by another Republican. I hate a lot about Trump, but I just find ways around it. If he was better liked, 2.9% would look like NOTHING. So while he is hurting us, despite this, he is seeing the numbers he is. Meanwhile the credibility of the left will be tested by all of this. If Trump endures all of the relentless attacks, you will really be fighting an uphill battle to ever be taken seriously again for about a decade or so hopefully.

    So please.....keep resisting.

Complacency is voting for the left, simply because they are the left.

Instead of taking your protest to the left leadership demanding better, you take it to the opposition hoping they will hear you better. Good luck.

I am not a fan of the military industrial complex and the belief that solders need to do all they do now. But I still understand what it means to be a POW. He should not be there but he is and he is handling it well. Vietnam is not his decision he only deals with it.

I don’t recall the US recognizing Jerusalem as the capital, at least before Trump. Not even sure what the statement means. What are you referring to?

    Bull shit.
John Kerry received three purple hearts a Bronze Star and Silver Star for his service in Vietnam. He served in the Navy from 1966 until 1970.
Upon his return he spoke out against the war, certainly something he was entitled to do as a U.S. citizen and a war hero.
