i'm not allowed to sleep very long continuously, at night or in the daytime. kind of the price of where i live.
which is kind of the price of not having used credit for most of the past 50 years.
i've always slept better camped out by myself in the woods.
even when i was homeless. which was many years ago, and no longer at my age really an option.
i'm lucky to have internet, and a pension that pays my rent.
though my internet connection is frequently kind of flakey.

 

After 72hrs or whatever I have successfully pieced my wound back together. now I just need a bandaid to hold it together. I might get another scar on my finger. Scars are hot. Right? Cause I got a lot of em.

 

So they cheated death on a previous assignment together and this was the grim reapers revenge?

I woke after 3 hours of sleep. I woke to alone-ness and questions of my worthiness to be anything but that.

 

These two little kittens are so adorable!

They've started sleeping, curled up together, in the food bowl.

 

Work is happening, and I don’t want it to be!

 

It's raining and we are having an intermittent thunderstorm. I took out my Mum's copy of Pink Floyd 'Wish You Were Here' and noticed there were spots of white paint on side one. I got some off with white spirits but it sure is a bumpy listen. It must be from when we had decorators in and I'd left it on the turntable.

 

SHIT! That's sad! I'm always watching trees during heavy rains and high winds when I'm out driving. No joke, about 4 years ago while I was in Kansas, on a nice sunny summer afternoon, the large and rather old tree in between my house and the neighbors house fell into my yard and out into the street. I didn't see it fall but my wife saw it happen through the window. I JUST finished cutting the front yard before that tree decided to fall!! Close call!

 

My daughter has drawn me into her marital drama without my permission!

I got a message from her on Saturday night, on Facebook Messenger. She said that she and her wife were arguing and she had left for a friend's house and that her wife was persistent in wanting to know where she was going so she told her my house. She told me to tell her that if she contacted me.

I was like...Uh, I just won't answer anything from her.

So last night, I got another message from my daughter, on facebook messenger, saying to call her at work today, on the work phone, and to please not respond to the current message.

Ugh!

I tried to call a few minutes ago but apparently she doesn't start work this early.

I love her and will always have her back but damn!

 

The good news is my daughter claims that she forgot what she wanted to talk to me about...

Jesus.

Way too much alcohol, I suspect.

Hopefully, I won't be involved further.

 

I spoke to her on the phone just now and she says that she and her wife are "good" now and that she honestly doesn't remember what she wanted.
