Fox News got caught spreading fake news and has apologized. Seems that when airing a segment about Trump canceling the Eagles visit to the White House they showed pictures of Eagles players kneeling in prayer...as if they were kneeling during the national anthem. Also shown in a Tweet.

The US is finally telling the public who overstays their visas the most—and it’s not Mexicans Ana Campoy May 23, 2017 The US is finally telling the public who overstays their visas the most—and it’s not Mexicans excerpt: "By the end of fiscal year 2016, some 630,000 visitors had failed to leave the US, far exceeding the 415,000 people who were intercepted crossing the US-Mexico boundary during the same time period. According to Homeland Security, Canadians, not northbound Latin Americans, were the biggest group of violators. About 120,000 Canadians with expired visas were still believed to be living in the US at the end of the period covered by the report, versus roughly 47,000 Mexicans."
Trump must sit for deposition in Zervos defamation case: judge By Julia Marsh June 5, 2018 https://nypost.com/2018/06/05/trump-must-sit-for-deposition-in-zervos-defamation-case-judge/ excerpt: "President Trump must sit for a seven-hour deposition by Jan. 31, 2019, in a defamation case brought by former “Apprentice” contestant Summer Zervos, a Manhattan judge ruled Tuesday. Trump’s attorney Marc Kasowitz said he would try to block Zervos from asking his client questions about other women who claim they were sexually harassed or assaulted by Trump. In 2016, Zervos accused then-candidate Trump of rubbing his genitals against her in 2007 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She sued a year later after he called her allegations “fiction.”"
Trump: Mueller Already Knows the Truth Donald Trump’s former campaign chair is in new trouble, and he's not the only one who will suffer By Andrew Cohen June 5, 2018 A Memo to Manafort and Trump: Mueller Already Knows the Truth excerpt: "Surely you aren't surprised that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort now stands accused of attempted witness tampering and may forfeit his freedom pending his federal money laundering and tax fraud trial. Hustlers gotta hustle, right? There is little Manafort has done alongside our hustler president that suggests he's a man willing to observe basic legal rules and norms. Nor is there anything Robert Mueller has done in his capacity as special counsel to think he'd not be on the lookout for such tampering. Even the notion that Manafort evidently thought he could get away with secretly trying to coax witnesses against him to provide false testimony isn't a surprise given what we know about Manafort's history. His audacity is matched only by his recklessness. And what he's accused of doing here – using an encrypted messaging program to try to turn federal witnesses – is really only a sneaky way of doing what the president himself is doing with all of his recent pardon chatter. The idea behind both tactics is to affect either the substance or the timing of testimony."
Paul Manafort, ex-Trump campaign aide, accused of witness tampering 5 June 2018 Ex-Trump aide accused of witness tampering excerpt: "The White House has changed its story about a meeting, which is thought to be central to the inquiry, at Trump Tower in June 2016 between Trump campaign officials and Russians. Mr Manafort and Donald Trump Jr were among those present at the discussion with a Kremlin-linked lawyer who promised the president's son political dirt on Hillary Clinton. The White House has repeatedly denied the president dictated a misleading statement by his son, which claimed the meeting was about Russian adoption policy. But in a memo this January to the Mueller team, first reported on Saturday by the New York Times, the White House reversed that position. "The president dictated a short but accurate response… on behalf of his son, Donald Trump, Jr," the White House acknowledged in a private letter to investigators. The confidential note to Mr Mueller came despite numerous denials over the past year that he had "dictated" the statement. On Monday, Trump spokeswoman Sarah Sanders declined to explain the discrepancy. The president's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, told CNN: "It was a mistake. I swear to God, it was a mistake.""
Compulsory Authoritarian Demonstrations of Fake Nationalism. Trump Unable to Remember Words to ‘God Bless America’ at Fake Fan Rally By Jonathan Chait June 5, 2018 4:50 pm Trump Unable to Remember Words to ‘God Bless America’ at Fake Fan Rally excerpt: "Simultaneously, Sarah Huckabee Sanders told a crowd of reporters inside the White House that the administration reconciled its belief that bakers have the right to refuse to bake cakes for gay weddings with its belief that football players cannot kneel during the anthem as follows: “The president doesn’t think this is an issue simply of free speech. He thinks it’s about respecting the men and women of our military; it’s about respecting our national anthem.” For such a brief statement, this contains an impressive quantity of evasions. First, the protests are not directed at the anthem but at police brutality, using the anthem as a point of demonstration. Second, the national anthem is an expression of patriotism, not support for the armed forces in particular. And third, even if Sanders was correct about both of the above points, once she has conceded that the issue is about a point of view — respecting the armed forces — then she has subverted her claim that it isn’t about free speech. Respecting the armed forces is also a point of view. She is demanding that players obey that view. Obviously, nobody who is trying to prevent free speech thinks what they’re doing is about free speech. They think it’s about the beliefs they’re trying to compel. The afternoon at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was heavy on compulsory authoritarian demonstrations of ersatz nationalism, and light on genuine patriotism. The current, diseased state of the Republican Party and its Trump-era Kulturkampf was on perfect display."
But free speech requires the ability to not respect things. Effective protest means you are challenging the status quo. It can never work if you have blind patriotism. In fact it's probably people who care for a country the most who bother to protest. If everyone went Trump style we would be kneeling to Queen Elizabeth now. I mean god choices the queen. Why should we disrespect both him and her by not being a loyal subject of the British Empire? Kind of disrespectful to throw all the tea in a harbor no? You are not god. What a moron. Basically we can not have anyone feelings hurt especial y the solider. How many days do veterans get kissing their ass? The culture of worship around them is unlike anywhere else in the world. Seems many in the military support free speech and I would say to those that don't you are clearly a grunt who never had any idea what it was all about. The whole thing is a distraction. Trump is saying I am not the issue but here is a fellow American they are the real problem because they do not do what I say. Does not help you Donnie the lies are catching up.
Not sure if this is a joke or not. That is the state of the American right though. You wonder can they really believe this or have they embraced their stereotype because they find it funny?
The bottom line here is Trump & Pence want the colored folks to obey and the white ones to have special privilege. Richard Spencer said right after Trump got elected that he, "Wants to swim in White Privilege."
Trump said Canada burned down the White House during the war of 1812. Ya just can't make this shyt up, folks...
And nobody cares, at least nobody in his base. That's what's really depressing. They wouldn't know or care what the War of 1812 was, who we were fighting, or when it was fought! Canada burned down the White House? Whatever!
yeah, yeah, but I thought he didn't like drug dealers. he is becoming more of a clown, fool, moron, etc. everyday. and then there's this. rather feckless, if you ask me. Ivanka Trump connected Cohen with Russian offering to help facilitate Moscow Trump Tower: report
I don't think Trump himself is a racist. He uses racism as a wedge issue when it suits him with his base, but in this case it suited him to pardon a black woman to show magnanimity and demonstrate he's not a racist. Apparently, you bought it.
