Peter Navarro, one of Trump's advisers, says there's a special place in hell for Justin Trudeau. It appears he was ordered to make the remake by Trump while on Air Force One. He then called the G 6 members socialists (in a negative way). Can anyone believe we now have issues with Canada?
Robert De Niro had a special message for the Commander of Cheese at the Tony's last night. He got a standing ovation. Oh those liberals. At least he didn't say there's a special place in hell for Trump.
FOX News person Abby Hunter called Trump and Kim Jong Un two dictators this weekend in an interview with Anthony Scaramucci. (As an aside, why do people even give Scaramucci air time?) Scaramucci agreed:
Yes. This is exactly what Putin wants-- disrupting the unity of the western allies. His goal is to replace all of the leaders of the western nations with Trump clones, neo-fascists, and thugs. He wants this not because he wants to control these countries (he knows a single election in the future could change that), but because he wants to destroy them. He wants to aggravate divisions both domestically and internationally, which is also what he is doing by playing both sides against each other with Internet-based propaganda. He is using Trump and the Eurofascists to crush the west and weaken western liberal democracy, and the retarded right is cheering it all on because they don't understand the global society, and think that being an obnoxious prick of a bully makes you strong when it does just the opposite. He wants to destroy NATO, and bring Russia and China to the forefront. Trump is behaving like a perfect puppet. Nothing he is doing is in any way rational, and to be honest, it's terrifying that the media isn't taking it more seriously. I don't buy that all of this idiocy is sheer incompetence-- Putin definitely has something on him... definitely videos, definitely money laundering--but to be honest, I'm not even sure if that's the worst of it. He is undoubtedly guilty of obstruction of justice and abuse of his position. Trump probably knows that he is betraying his country, betraying its values, betraying its people... he is a narcissist, but I don't buy that he's only afraid to stop now because of money laundering-- it's a white collar crime and he would only end up in a country club of a prison. Honestly, at this point I really have to wonder if the child molestation rumors are true.
Putin is making jokes about Trump. After reading in the German newspaper Die Welt that Trump is pushing Europe into Russia's hand Putin remarked:
Putin may think it's funny, but it seems to be spot on! Why does Trump always have such nice things to say about Putin and other authoritarian leaders, and only bad things to say about our closest allies? Why would he want to admit Russia to the G-8 when we kicked it out for invading Crimea? Larry Kudlow, Trump's National Economic Council Director, tried to put a positive spin on Trump's G-7 tantrum by saying it was a show of strength preparing for the summit with Kim Jong un. Does it show strength to show disunity with our allies, whom we'll certainly need if we want to reimpose sanctions if all doesn't go well? Trump is, to use one of his favorite expressions, a DISASTER. I can see why Putin want him in office.
It's still something. Not sure why the other guy said I was wrong when I said they started building it. Probably in denial. Also starting a part of it in Texas I believe.
Well, apparently Donald and NK have signed some sort of agreement, but they're not telling anybody what it is. Maybe KJU offered to give the Donald asylum after he is arrested for treason?
Regardless of your politics you have to admit the line about the Trump presidency was pretty funny................ “The Hitler mistake that put a borderline psychotic narcissist in the White House.”
Senate will try to reverse ZTE deal via a must-pass defense bill By JOHN HENDEL and DOUG PALMER 06/11/2018 08:13 PM EDT Updated 06/11/2018 08:18 PM EDT Senate will try to reverse ZTE deal via a must-pass defense bill excerpt: "Senate leaders agreed Monday to include language in the annual defense spending bill that would reverse the Trump administration's decision to save Chinese telecommunications company ZTE after it was caught violating the terms of a 2017 penalty agreement by making illegal sales to Iran and North Korea. The move is a rebuke to President Donald Trump on the eve on his summit meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, after Trump had pledged to China’s leader that he would try to save the state-controlled company from a crippling sanction. The language will be part of an amendment in the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act, a $716 billion defense policy bill, H.R. 5515 (115)."
Trump has misled people into thinking that one or more of the prototypes of his wall idea are being erected in San Diego and elsewhere. Trump gave a misleading tweet that showed pics of bollards (not a wall) while he said the wall going up, as if the wall prototypes were being erected. The prototypes aren't being built. Customs and Border Protection Acting Deputy Commissioner Ronald D. Vitiello is using the term 'border wall system' even though they aren't the protypes of the type of walls that Trump wanted but rather a fence such as ones that use steel bollards. Trump hasn't been able to shift money from the U.S. military to his wall in spite of wishful thinking by Ann Coulter on Fox News who was claiming it would be done. Trump made a cryptic remark about using 'M' (apparently his code letter for military) to fund and build the wall. Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall, yet he is insistent on breaking a campaign promise and trying to force the U.S. taxpayers to pay for his wall which hasn't yet been built and to an extent that he said he is willing to shut down the government in September 2018 to get U.S. taxpayers to fund it, which is an admission that he didn't get the wall that he wanted. Trump should be dealmaking with Mexico to pay for it.
Has the Border Wall Begun? By Robert Farley Posted on April 13, 2018 Q: Has President Donald Trump started building the wall between United States and Mexico? A: Congress approved $1.6 billion to replace existing barriers and add some fencing in new areas. The new barriers are not concrete and not like any of Trump’s wall prototypes. Has the Border Wall Begun? - FactCheck.org excerpt: "Here’s what that $1.6 billion is for (see Section 230, starting on page 673): $251 million for “secondary fencing” near San Diego. $445 million for “primary pedestrian levee fencing” in the Rio Grande Valley. $196 million for “primary pedestrian fencing” in the Rio Grande Valley. $445 million for replacement of primary pedestrian fencing. $38 million for border barrier planning and design. $196 million for border security technology. The bill further states that the money can only be used to build “operationally effective designs deployed as of the date of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017, [May 5, 2017] such as currently deployed steel bollard designs, that prioritize agent safety.” Readers may recall Trump on March 13 toured eight wall prototypes — which you can see here — that he had put out to bid early in his presidency. The language in the omnibus bill precludes funding for any of those designs. Again, the funding in the omnibus appropriations bill precludes construction of the prototype designs. The bill funds about 100 miles of border barrier in various places, according to Customs and Border Protection. That’s far less than what Trump said he intends to ultimately build. And much of that is replacement for existing fencing that is dilapidated or inadequate. The spending bill funds nearly $1.6 billion worth of what it refers to as “fencing.” Trump now calls that “wall.” But he didn’t always think those were the same thing."
Funding for maintenance of border security devices has been common in previous spending bills. The Omnibus bill of 2018 is similar to previous bills in this regard, in spite of the Trump administration trying to put a spin on it.
One bombshell from the summit: we'll suspend our military exercises with South Korea. Apparently, South Korea hadn't been clued in on this, since it asked for "clarification". We treat our enemies better than we treat our allies.
