Ah, ok. So you meant to say his voters, not Bernie himself. Sanders of course campaigned for Clinton and has always been very outspoken against Trump.

Politicians dont own their voters. I've always found it strange myself how people could throw their support behind someone like Sanders and then vote for the opposite of him in Trump, but I think its likely that those voters didnt care about Sander's ideology so much as the fact that he promised drastic change. So when he was out of the running they switched to the other guy promising drastic change

Bernie Sanders voters see through the false dichotomy of the two parties. In an oligarchy the main way to rule is by divide and conquer. Trump is being used as a lighting rod to cause division and fighting amongst the American people. If the people ever do unite we'll witness the second coming of FDR, she'll fry up billionaires for breakfast and we'll get our republic back.

Mexico just elected a socialist new president.

Since more than 50% of American millenials want to live under socialism, Democrats are going to have a hard time keeping their voting bases from illegally immigrating to Mexico.

Europe's been socialist for years, and, yet, they're all still here...here and complaining that the attitude of "if you don't like it, leave!" is unfair despite being descended from people who didn't like Europe and instead left for America.

I mean, can you appreciate that? Hundreds of years ago, people fled Europe so that their children and their children's children could have better opportunities in America. Fast forward a few generations, and their offspring want to remake America in socialist Europe's image. They must be rolling over in their graves.

A high school teacher that just had to say something, just happened to have a cue card in her hand to refer to, just had to video it, and just had to post it on Facebook.

That's them critical thinking skills we've been hearing about.

They fled to America because they were religious nuts, not because living standards were better. It's pretty hard to change things when the state is legally allowed to murder you for attempting to do so.

And believe it or not, things have changed quite a bit in the past few hundred years. We have these things called a Republic, freedom of speech, the right to protest, the right to demand better things from the government.

I really can't imagine that anyone would be rolling around in their graves because their descendants have the means and the will to improve their own society.

Yeah she just happened upon the head of the EPA that she just happened to also be eating at the same place.

With cue cards even. And she didn't film it. She didn't act alone.

Yeah that happens all the time.

Oh yes the conspiracy deepens, just imagine people eating in a restaurant, actually going out to eat in a restaurant, and wait on just one god dam minute... more than just one person going out to eat in a restaurant…hell it can only be a secret plot to bring down the head of the EPA a man so honourable, honest and loved that who would want to say anything against him

Yeah going out to eat with cue cards and video cameras. Everybody does that.

Sheer chance the head of the EPA happened to be there I'm sure.

Don't give anyone too much credit. This is no deep conspiracy. Just average educated critical thinking skills at work here. Not nearly capable of it ever being a deep conspiracy.

Your post is pretty contradictory. You say people came here not because it was better but, as you so eloquently put it, because they were religious "nuts," then proceed to explain all the things that make this country better.

People gave up everything to come here because it was believed to be the land of opportunity. They knew that as long as they put in a hard days work, they'd be rewarded. People still flock to this country in droves for this very reason.

    Yes. Why?

Are you suggesting Europe is not socialist? Are you suggesting people did not emmigrate from Europe to the US? Are you suggesting that migration didn't occur for the better opportunities that America provided, both real and imagined?

What part of that history do you find to be both humurous and erroneous enough to warrant such a condescending reply to a post not even directed at you?

    Nose

That’s good so which books specifically did you get the information from?

    *

So ALL the governments in Europe are socialist and which form of socialism are they?

You talked of hundreds of years ago so was Europe 'socilaist' back then?

Who were the first Europeans to colonise North America and what about those that were forced to come to the Americas?
