I have a score card right next to me. I read this thread and make marks based on the opinions of participants.
It just gets more unbelievable all the time. Republicans sent a group of seven Senators and one House member to Russia. Notice the lack of Democrats or Independents. They wanted to meet with Putin, but were rebuffed. In addition Bolton and Perry are scheduled to go, in addition to Trump. Of course this was on the Fourth of July. At the same time the bipartisan Senate committee was reaffirming the Russian interference in the election the Republicans were kissing up to the Ruskies telling them they're ready to forget the past and become buddies. Senator Shelby said he wasn't there "to accuse Russia of this or that or so forth". No you should should be calling them out for illegal theft, interfering with elections, poisoning four people in Britain, annexing Crimea, and killing journalist. Sergey Kislyak, the Russian spy Trump gave away top secret information to in the White House was present. Remember him? Photo supplied by TASSRussian election meddling never came up. Neither did Crimea. Or poisoning, or killing journalist, or much else. So what's going on? Why are all these Republicans so friendly with Russia?
Like Dr Frankenstein I think many of the wealthy that supported this shift to the right (like the Koch brothers support for the tea party movement) are beginning to realise they have created a nationalistic monster that they have lost control of. It reminds me of the 1930’s when the wealthy supported fascistic movements as a bulwark against the rise of socialism. Again I can only hope people realise the danger
Some of the Republican senators posted pics making it look like they were in the U.S. celebrating 4th of July when in fact they were in Russia. A GOP senator posted photos of himself enjoying D.C.'s July 4th fireworks. He's supposed to be in Russia. A GOP senator posted photos of himself enjoying D.C.'s July 4th fireworks. He's supposed to be in Russia. excerpt: "Oddly, the Republican lawmakers were extending an olive branch to Russia on the same day the GOP-led Senate Intelligence Committee released a report accusing the Kremlin of working during the 2016 election to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Trump win. Most of the senators, scheduled to return July 5, posted patriotic Fourth of July images to their Twitter accounts Wednesday — Shelby, John Kennedy (R-La.), John Thune (R-S.D.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), and Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) — with no mention of where they were spending America's Independence Day. But Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) posted three photos of him and his wife in Washington, proclaiming it a "treat to be in DC to celebrate the 4th and watch some great fireworks!""
Add Bill Shine to the list of Fox people Trump has brought into his administration. Might as well move the Oval Office to the Fox News studio. The Fox News employees hired by Trump by Blair Guild CBS News July 2, 2018, 12:07 PM The Fox News employees hired by Trump excerpt: "President Trump has long been a Fox News fan and is a loyal consumer of the network's programming -- as president, he's given over 20 interviews to the cable news network, which the New York Times pointed out is two-thirds of his television interviews since he's been in office. Amid the sea of "fake news" the president complains about, Mr. Trump praises Fox News for its "amazing reporting." It should also come as no surprise that he has even mined the ranks of Fox News to hire talent for his administration. In fact, he's likely to announce soon that his new communications director will be a former co-president of Fox News, Bill Shine. Here's a look at some notable former Fox News employees and contributors the Trump administration has hired:"

Anthony Scaramucci deserves a medal. His stint lasted about 9 days. He was supposed to stop the leaks in the White House and did a foul-mouth interview not realizing it would be leaked to the public. Trump hires only the best. The Fox list: John Bolton Heather Nauert Mercedes Schlapp Tony Sayegh K.T. McFarland Scott Brown Richard Grenell John D. McEntee Georgette Mosbacher Anthony Scaramucci
Man, what a blowhard! I can't consider him sane. I can't consider his cult followers as having any sense of morality at all. Particularly those that like to pretend that they are followers of religion. Believe me. Sad. Deplorable.
I'm going to go ahead and say this, because I think it's true. There can't be any worse. There, I said it. Crucify me.
The Independent (UK) has an article about Trump's son putting out cartoons of his father...truly strange...someone who can put them on here should put them on. I can't do it from my laptop.
The Trump Administration is still holding 3000 immigrant children and claims they will return the ones under the age of 5 to their parents. At the same time, The Trump Administration is discharging immigrant members of the armed forces for reasons unknown. Some one should be looking into whether these "already cleared" troops are of Mexican or Muslim ethnicity which triggers discrimination from Trump & Co.
