Actually I miss spoke about them excreting from thier skin, they don't actually do that. It's a wierd process that involves some type of moth that relies on sloth dung. The sloth climbs down from tress once a week, drops its dung, and moths lay eggs in the dung, then, in return, the moths lay the dung back on the sloth's coat of fur along with the algae that forms on the fur. I was told by Panamanians (when I was in Panama) that sloths shit through thier skin. My bad for providing misinformation.
