Sorry, I just got over this, mine had a bad cough. That's still hanging on, but colds are so annoying. Like you're not so sick you can't do anything, but you can't be at your best. Feel better.

It's 76F and breezy. It feels like a different season!

 

Where I'm staying, there is an owl somewhere in the trees that sounds like it's making an electronic ping similar to the sonar on a submarine. It really is a strange sound.

 

Heavy Rains Are Forecast......So It's A "Now Or Never" Attempt To Rescue The Boys In Thailand.

Not a good name. Truckers might stop by not looking for coffee, but for something else. How about Aerianne's
Coffee Cat Cabin, or something like that?

 

I haven't understood why they couldn't simply bring the boys out one at a time. Put oxygen masks on them and tranquilized them if necessary, then hook them onto a diver and swim to safety. More complicated than that I guess.

 

Yeah situations like this I just have to assume there are all kinds of factors involved. It would be nice to know more of the particulars, to be sure.

Going To Be Left Behind......They Are Just Too Weak To Make The Very Long Trip Out.....

for real? Thats rlly sad. even the coach was still young, only 25 I think. Hopefully something changes and they are able to get them all out.

 

They shouldn't just leave them behind! Even a desperate attempt is better than no attempt at all.

 

They Will Have To Swim For 1.7 km's To Reach The Third Chamber......From There Walk 1.5 km's To The Entrance.

They Expect The Operation Will Take Eight Hours......Only The Boys In The Best Physical Condition......And

Have Learned To Swim And Dive Will Be Coming Out.....Imagine For A Minute Having To Make The Decision

As To Who Lives......And Who Dies.....Tough Call......

I hadn't heard that...

This whole story has been heartbreaking to follow. They can't leave three people to die. Stupid question, I guess, but they can't bore a hole straight down and lower in food and medical supplies? It's dive (which is complicated and dangerous in and of itself) or die?? Just like that?

No alternatives??
