From what I'm reading officials are concerned that when the monsoon rains start the cave will become totally impassible. As far as drilling goes there are efforts underway to create shafts to the cave but due to lack of technology the exact location of the team is not precisely known.

That's somewhat encouraging, I hope everyone makes it! What a frightening situation to be in.

Praying for these babies and their coach...he's still pretty much a baby himself.

I know we're not supposed to cross reference threads, but remember the thread about how military veterans suck? Thai, US, and UK military personnel are working together and risking their lives to save these kids. One has even died already in the process.

Real heroes...get these kids home and into the arms of their parents!

I’m reminded of the Floyd Collins rescue from crystal cave back in 1925

I’d love to be able to do that but we don’t have any decent caves here in New England because of the granite bedrock, and while I’ve been to Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky and Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico, it's not something I can take up as a weekend hobby.

That's about three hours from where I live. I went there with my dad not long before he died. I've been wanting to go back but it's hard to find anyone else who's interested in going.

Got a neighbors water bill in the mail 2 weeks ago. Didn't think nothing of it. Got two more when I checked my mail yesterday. His bill is over $100 so I think I will take a walk see who it is and give him the bill.....and if I see him (her) let them know to change their po box with the town.

It seems the latest aggravation was not about your lifestyle or that slaughtering and consuming a goat might be wrong and disgusting. It was about you wording it as if the goat freely gives its life for you to be eaten. No matter how spiritual one perceives this whole thing (which btw I find all pretty normal and ok) that's bogus of course. The goat would run if really aware.

Tell them they have a water leak somewhere also. Or is it normal where you live to have a $100 water bill?
