I'm actually doing something altruistic today. I'm taking an old man to his hospital appointment and then to do some shopping. He will buy me lunch.

 

That reminds me of a seinfeld episode where the old guy George is taking out for lunch realises he's better off without George because life's to short to waste on him being so pessimistic. Lol.

 

I'll take this as a compliment

I don't really think I am that well travelled though.
And I've been called precocious before.
I don't mind it. I've always been kind of serious.

Even after just 10 days here, I am known as the serious girl.
But that's mostly thanks to two silly Italian guys.

So very right ladies....on both points.

In my early 20s, a high school buddy wanted to go in on a duplex (side by side) townhouse property.
One of those.
30 year mortgage = 30 year neighbors

We never did go purchase a property together, and here we had a falling out of friendship 3 or 4 years later. That would've been a disaster if we'd gone through with it.
I kinda had a feeling not to do it with him..... that's why it never happened. He was pissed I didn't do it with him.

The same goes for a chiropractor situation, but I think I'm going to use my pink wings and fly over to Meliai's thread to explain that one.

I'm 40 minutes early for my interview. Why am I like this?

Now to try to balance my need to drink coffee for the next 40 minutes with not needing to use the restroom in the middle of the interview

 

That and you're going to be waiting forty minutes with the jitters. That's no fun at all.
