subarus have kept too many people in my family alive. my brother was hit damn near head on by a bus. my dad sardine-canned the side off of one of his on the highway, blew a tire and hit the barrier.
we are a pretty loyal subaru family. they are expensive, but more easily replaced than a life. i know i can trust subaru. for me that is really vital in getting on the road at all. i dont trust other drivers, and anxiety about that makes it incredibly daunting. once i am an established driver i might be comfortable enough with other vehicles, but knowing that theres a good chance the kids and i can walk away from an accident is non negotiable to my risk management process.

and all 3 cats have been fixed. the kittens wont keep the ecollars on. i have to rig something up for them. the big boy is wobbly. but its done. no unexpected cat pregnancies in this house

 

well my lovely english friend,,drug addiction is a sickness....so a certain amount of empathy is needed if one is to deal with these people.... you have to pick your battles in life

I was give a half pound of rosin pucks after they been pressed..you only get 10% return that way so they are packed with another 10% of thc plus all those yummy terps and cbd etc.....

There's a good argument happening at the moment in German Council over the state of of our military. Some crowd please Ursula Von nobody gives a shit is having a cry over photographs of German soldiers in WW2 and wants them banished from German military buildings. One photo in particular of a young German soldier and he's still alive and he's come out and basically said eat a dick, I was 15 years old when I was asked to defend our country. We were not evil Nazis I'm so sick of it, every country in the world is proud of their military accomplishments except us, the military is not responsible for war crime atrocities, to remove all of our history from our military is detrimental to our forces at the moment. The Wehrmacht should be regarded as one of the best military forces in recent history, not regarded as war criminals.

I agree with him. so do A LOT of people, so I hope this idiot woman gets her arsehole handed to her lol. Well I dunno about if it's detrimental to the military now but I do think it's rediculous what she's trying to do. Just a crowd pleaser that ain't pleasing anybody but her own self worth.

 

I get you, really I do.. the little one is poorly, and I just lost it a minute.. I hate seeing her sick, she might only be 12, but she is the bravest person I know, she smiles constantly, has the brain of a genius, her music taste is fantastic.. every thing about that child is amazing... But she is sick, and the amount of needles they are putting in her breaks my heart!
Don't be scared nana, I will be ok.. FFS! She is sick and comforting me!
Just feels like their illness is voluntary sometimes Rollin, hers is gifted by me..

 

That's always been my understanding as well... Most of those guys just regular dudes doing the same things soldiers from any other nation were doing. Doesn't seem right to dishonor them.

Edit: and from a military history standpoint, what those guys accomplished has never been achieved before or since.

Its just garbage, if my grandfather was still alive he'd be fuming lol. He always hated the fact he had to flee Germany after WW2 to Ireland because he'd have been treated as a war criminal for being highly decorated in the SS Panzer Corps. Just because of the title SS. He always had a grudge, earned his crosses for saving your men, pulling them out of burning tanks and keep going forward. A tank blow up, stop, drag the survives out, keep moving forward while under attack. Had to leave the country for that.

 

There's this book... I forget what it's called, but it's autobiographical about a Catholic German seminarian who end up conscripted and in the SS. Thing is he was not some fanatical Nazi either. He even secretly got dispensation to dispense holy communion on the battlefield (Which he did for not only German soldiers but allied as well)

Never even killed a man during the war, if I recall correctly. (Think he somehow got into medical because, well... He was going to be a priest and didn't want to kill anyone)

I think if people did their homework at all they'd know they shouldn't be judging these men as Nazis simply because of their uniform. They were mostly young men going through the same hell everyone else was.

Some of those guys fought for years in brutal warfare, many never went home. Personally I think their memory should be treated with respect. It's only right.

The other day I went to Wally World after eating with my bff...and by the way, she let me keep the window down the entire time I was in the car. lol ANYWAY...I had eaten 2 firecrackers from my friend that gets the mowie-wowie...I had forgotten just how strong his stuff is.

Dear God...I lasted through eating fine fine fine...then when we went to Wally World...those things hit me like a ton of bricks. To stop myself from slurring I pressed my lips tightly together (like you couldn't even see lips). I remember she asked me if I thought that would help my slurring...I whispered (slurring) "of course...if I got my lips together I can't talk!"...then I had to hold her scooter cart the whole way through.

It was awful. my goodness. Its good you're home.

none of the things i feel right now are good. i am marinated in unhappiness.

im not stupid. and i never used to BE snoopy. but im so sick of being the back burner. how can you tell if someone actually loves you?

 

i dont feel good either.. Ive not played with my dog in 5days. I come home sit. I said fuck the house. the grass, everything other than feeding the dog. in fact I may never cut the fucking grass again.. fuck this house. Idda install the gas range so kitchen troll can set fire to the fucking thing!
