A good start would be making sure mass public transit is available in all poorer neighborhoods. How can anyone get out of poverty if they live in an area with no jobs and no means to get to them?

I am pretty sure that Johnson wasn't motivated by a single police shooting. Regardless, the issue itself is still real... whereas gun confiscation won't happen and Sandy Hook wasn't a hoax.

Alex Jones ONLY tells lies... they aren't mistakes made by reporters overeager to find the next piece of a very real narrative... they are deliberate fabrications designed to create outrage, anger and fear where none should exist.

Ok, so say you have an 8 hour workday, work is 9 miles away. That's 15 hours of your day gone right there. What if you have children? A sick parent? Any responsibility to anyone besides yourself?

Now we now why your injun name is Running Horse But yeah, as McFuddy simply illustrates: most people don't walk an extra 15 miles or so a day for a normal day of work (meaning about 8 hours). Certainly not if its physical labour

That's what family's for. No I don't have an issue with public transportation my issue is with the current structural setup of cities & communities in general.

Edit: in hindsight i probably took your comment too seriously. I doubt you think everyone not able to make that kind of trek to and from work due to various circumstances is lazy.

I dont know if thats what you meant but thats where i went with it.

 

I honestly sort of hate what cars have done to society and how suburban sprawl is a result of car culture. I wish American culture had formed more around public transportation from the get go
