I ve never even heard of this guy before this.

A quick Google sheet his App is being downloaded at 10X the normal rate on the Apple platform. Self reported by Apple.

Didn't FB get in trouble fir bot publishing Right Leaning political commentary, while supporting and facilitating unproven yet posted left wing propoganda.

Zuckerberg admitted his policing team was left leaning and he vowed to hire a more blanved team.

This was just before the 30% drop in stock value if I remember right.

Censorship is the perogative of private citizens/corporations. So is the resulting impacts the consumers deliver to them as a result.

If they lean so far to the left they fall over and censor anything that doesn't jive with their agenda, and continue to profit and attract users, then they're giving their customers exactly what they want which is kinda the point of being in business.

People really shouldn't be getting news from Facebook anyway. If the website in question isn't a verified news organization who also happens to have a website, don't trust it. There is no law against publishing fake news all over the web. If the "news" organization only exists on the internet, they can--and do--say whatever they want.

"There’s obviously something about him the establishment doesn’t want us to hear about"

Yes. Do you question any of the news you hear?

I haven't yet caught up in all the posts in this thread, but it seems to me that the majority on here are in favor of unpersoning Jones from social media and iTunes, because "He insights misinformation and violence toward others." Yet the mainstream media is always eager to give Richard Spencer a platform to speak out. Why might that be? Spencer is way more vile than Alex Jones. I also have yet to see anyone provide a shred of evidence that he prompted his fan base to attack Sandy Hook parents. All I ever seen was him questioning the event like every skeptical person should.

Well... you're celebrating Alex Jones being silenced and censored, aren't you? So how is it "not so?'

Besides, I'm actually a classical-liberal atheist who is pro-choice, and very pro freedom of speech. I may be fiscally conservative, but my societal views are very centrist. But thank you for regurgitating those labels and stereotypes again.

As I said it ain't public transportation that's the problem it's the current model that puts a person's work so far away from them that they can't simply walk there.

I don't know, with 17 different intellegence agencies working on the case, you'd think someone would've cashed in on Wikileaks' $25,000 reward for finding the murders of Seth Rich, the campaign staffer who most likely passed the information over to wikileaks in the first place.

I question the news all the time. I question why nothing that happens outside of this country gets any coverage at all while the 24 hour circus that is our president dominates the media and has since before he was elected. What's going on in Yemen, what about Syria, isn't there something important happening somewhere else on this giant speck of dust that we should know about?

but isn't that all a bit beside the point? because what you seemed to be insinuating is that the establishment media is trying to bury Alex Jones because he knows something, or he's speaking some truth or saying something very important that the masses just shouldn't be allowed to know

and you cant possibly believe that lol

I don't see Russia a friend of the United States. I wouldn't doubt that there were some Russian trolls participating in the campaign of Trump either. But with that said, who's to say that the trolls weren't all a bunch of Trump supporters? He did manage to attain the support of /pol/ in 4Chan, which is troll central. Whereas Hillary tried to vilify them all as racists because of the Pepe memes.

Rather than the DNC owning up to their own mistakes, they want to wage Cold War II

    The government isn't doing this.

All these people are welcome to create their own video hosting services, and then they can put out videos spewing whatever they want.

Why else would they try to remove Alex Jones' existence from everywhere except Infowars.com?

It's either because he's reporting on stories the Silicone Valley echo chamber doesn't want us to know about. Or he is influencing people in ways that are outside of their control. Or both.

Why not deplatform someone like Richard Spencer, who was partially responsible for organizing the Charlottesville march? It's because they weaponize Spencer to pubically associate their opponents with white nationalism. But they can no longer do that as easily with Alex Jones.

Perhaps not but such censures certainly bear the stripes of a push that myself & many others have noticed becomin' more & more popular world wide, a push toward complete control of all information. Perhaps the government ain't behind such things but they certainly welcome the results
