My baby FINALLY nursing after two months of struggles. My middle finally understanding puns. My eldest learning to read.
being quite honest, I'm not sure myself. I've come across some things enough like to say 'could happen'.. which is odd enough.
when I find something labeled gluten free that doesn't have the taste or texture of either sand, cardboard, or wet, sandy cardboard. much more so if it's indistinguishable from the original
you know, that's probably one of the nicest things someone's ever said about me. Thank you. That actually did make me smile.
The look on my daughters face this afternoon when she got the phone call telling her she got the job she wanted fresh out of college.
I hear they often use the same surface for gluten foods and gluten-free foods which supposedly "contaminates" them.
not supposedly. it can. and for someone who a breadcrumb sized pollution can potentially hospitalize me, it becomes a real chore to find somewhere to eat out. and that's just incidental cross contamination. a lot of cooks say 'oh, it's just bullshit hipsterism' and will happily dunk your veggies into the same pot of water as pasta to cook them, for example. for some of us, that 'supposed contamination' is serious business.
"Supposedly" was bad word choice on my part, I posted that at 4 in the morning my time. Hopefully you can look at that post in it's totality and appreciate my attempt at getting that information out there though, for those who've might been unaware.
