My granny used to love going to Bosnia. She had lovely stories about it. I really want to go there too. Looks beautiful.

    Comparatively sink drains are easy...

This is the main line where the east end line (kitchen and second bathroom) meets the downpipe to the septic line, on the westside of the house. (in the utility room, technically "under" the utility room in the floor slab.) This hasn't worked properly since I've owned the place, (six plus years) and probably didn't work right for the last owner. I'm hoping I can get it working without busting out the floor...

Oh but I'm in total achy breaky back misery bro... it was roached after 30min. Probably why it took so long. It was only 1 bundle of shingles too.

my first and last roofing job consisted of carrying bundles up on the deck until i almost passed out

then passing bundles up to someone with enough balance to actually install them

then supervising everything because the goof didnt understand how important the staggering is...

...and of course as soon as i wasnt there to supervise there were obvious shortcuts taken....guy was even stupid enough to install drip edge the wrong way just an hour after i explained it while installing on another edge

Just had a delicious snack... a banana topped with peanut butter and dates and wrapped in a lettuce leaf.

well.. I'm actually acrophobic after my tumble when climbing, so I don't monkey scramble around anymore. get me on a roof and I freak out and turn into a catinatreeomgwtfaaaahhhh!!!

I was free climbing back in my mid 20's, and I went up a face I'd done a hundred times easy. well, it'd rained, but I'd taken a look at the top and a couple of my more spritely friends had gone up ahead of me. well, I got to the top of the 60' path, grabbed the boulder to pull myself up, and the ground around it gave. a hunk of rock half my weight and about the size of my torso rode me to the ground, where I landed flat on my back on gravel. (I managed to go slack and tuck my hands behind my head, so I didn't bust my egg on the ground)

didn't damage me too much. knocked the wind out of me, but all my friends were runnign around screaming 'omg he's dead!!' I managed to shove the rock off my chest, and laid there for a couple minutes doing a first aid self-check (can I feel my feet. yes. fingers? check. any sharp/acute pain? no. dull throbbing? hell yeah. ok, breathe in. breathe out. ribs hurt. compressed, not fractured. good. shift slowly, no sharp pains or loss of sensation along spine. ok.. ) then I stuck my hand up and half yelled 'not f'ing dead. but I would like to be checked out please! painkillers welcome!'

My days are numbered on a roof as well. My quads were shaking 2 hours in. Definitely need a muscle relaxer and some stretching.

I shouldn't have worn shorts either. Both of my calves have asphalt cheese grade.

ouch. yeah, sounds like you need to be careful. I'll admit my climbing fail was stupid on my part.. I should have checked over the top better than I did, and with it having had rained, I should have taken at least basic gear rather than do it free.

Give them a little time in the sun and they'll match right up.
