My name is #$%&*(. Sometimes I think about just changing it. Have you ever thought about it? I think I would be "Stephen". Isn't that a cool guys name? Or "Tony"? What about you? Any ideas, opinions?
They call me 'Bell' They call me 'Stacey' They call me 'her' They call me 'Jane' That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name They call me 'quiet girl' But I'm a riot Mary, Jo, Lisa Always the same That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name That's not my name
I like my name too, I got the best name out of the four daughters. If I could change my name, or it I had to, I'd probably go with Irminsul. Although it's such a phallic object, I think the name is quite Feminem sounding in western culture. I have also liked the names Freija, Vanessa, Rebekah, Drusilla, Jess. Joey. I'm not sure if I suit them though, maybe Drusilla and Rebekah. But only if it's spelt that way. If it's spelled Rebecca it loses all its fun and yes, I'm a sucker for a interesting looking name. My wife likes C, Y and J in names. She got all of them with me. Years ago there was this scheme where someone in Ireland was selling tiny blocks of land for for a few dollars and then you would own land in Ireland and could legally change your title to Lord or Lady. We became Lady J and Lady L. it's kind of cute. So all my documents have Lady Joc... Lol. now I'm just waiting for my 5x5 block of land is worth something one day lol.
My dad and I used to go to this service club on Thursday or Friday night to play pool and talk to police and fire and Vietnam vets etc. There was this one old guy, stumbles up to us introduce sshakes my dads hand my dad says; Hi I'm Vic Bic? No, Vic Ah, g'day, Dick. Dad just looked at me with the blank ass face and expression and went along with it. from that moment my now wife nicknamed him Dictor (Wiktor became Victor in Australia) he's been copping that ever since. Must be a decade ago now. "ahhh, goodday Dick!" she's say with this over exaggerated mockery. He blushes.
I don't know. Haven't put much thought into it. Thankfully, my little brother gave me a nickname that all my friends and family call me, so it's good.
and I do really like the name Arwen. It is legit. when I was pregnant but before I found out the gender, I considered Arwen for a girl.
Irm mentioned it and I thought "hmmmmph!" in a very offended manner but then I realized i've always wanted that spelling too and she's right edit, and I guess it wouldn't actually be the hebrew spelling lol, I didn't think that one through. I should have just said the old testament spelling this is the Hebrew spelling רִבְקָה
