    Welcome back

Stay away from the Merrimack Valley, more specifically Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover, after the gas explosions, and stay away from the Cape Cod beaches
after another shark attack which this time killed a man who was boogie-boarding.

The highlands are such a perfect place. Away from everyone else. Quiet and calm.
    Until winter... you freeze then.

I heard from a co-worker that my childhood bowling alley hangout was just Demo'd, leveled, cleared and hauled off.

    Such fun memories there.....

It had one of the best arcades in the city, also had the best oven made Tombstone pizzas.

(something about a bowling alley Tombstone pizza made it better than a home cooked one)

Met alot of videogamers that became friends, met alot of girls that were one day kisses. Bowled my best game ever of 157.

I have one more childhood hangout left that I hope doesn't get demo'd. The rollerskate rink two miles away.

In my small hometown the skating rink was the place to hangout in the early 80s. Played a lot of Pacman, Donkey Kong, etc. there. It is now a carpet store, ugh. Then when we got our driver's licenses the thing to do was cruise the shopping center parking lot on Saturday night. Now it's totally dead down there. What do kids do these days to socialize?

I think I can top that

There was a quadruple homicide at the bowling alley I used to hang-out at when I was a kid and it eventually closed down.

Misty and I would cruz the main highway passing the bowling alley and skating rink. There was grid lock for miles both ways north and south. Guys and girls were always hoping out of people's cars..... hoping in other cars. Then walk to get burgers or ice cream. There was such grid lock that you'd be able to send someone out of your car to the Burger King 50ft away, order, then walk back to the car with food and only be like 20 car lengths ahead where you were originally.

    Good times......

For over all of the high school (87'-90') generations, the cruisers were the guardians of fun and laughs in the Old Days. Before the dark times... before the Oinkers.

The Oinkers set up task forces at vacant parking lots and documented cruiser license plates and ticketed, and ticketed and ticketed for hours and hours. Relentless and didn't stop until 1 or 2 am. An ordinance was passed by the city to destroy all existing cruisers. Unfortunately, it worked and all the cruiser's are all but extinct.

What do they do to socialize?????
    Good question TD....

    You did top it HW.....
There were no shootings that I can remember at any of my hangouts. My grade/middle/high schools had no locked doors and no metal detectors.

They do now..... says my favorite cousin....

I was unable to view Hulu using Google.

I spoke to Hulu and they told me to try another browser.

I used Firefox and Hulu worked fine.
