What's Happening???

Just spent a few hours listening to P. Floyd, CCR, Little Richard and Procol Harum. I'd say that for me---that was a damn fine way to waste a few hours.

 

I get a full year between oil changes... using full synthetic.

The engine is designed that way, though, so it's a normal time frame. Computer keep track too, and will tell you how long before your next oil change. With dino oil I was getting about 6-7 months, full synthetic I can get over 12 months but change it at around the 1 year mark.

 

Had an awesome Saturday, out with hubby and friends. Reading the forums, and just relaxing.

I woke everyone in the house up turning my amp up to eleven and playing one power chord on the geetar. Rise and shine. I like to keep people on their toes.

 

Day one of insomnia camp done and dusted. not many people where we are yet, the first wave came and left so was peaceful for us. We have 3 guys across from us, once they saw two hawt chicks jump out of the truck to set up camp, well, they had to come and help. so I stood there barking orders like das Führer

I think my vape pen is broken though it won't charge. not sure if it's the unit or the chord. I might try go I to town tomorrow or maybe this afternoon and buy a better one. Other than that all is well. The toilet blocks aren't heaps busy yet so I haven't set the shower up, I'll probably do that tomorrow.

This year my wife says "well nobody had respect for anybody last year, I'm keeping the music loud" so it's been all old school metal for us, Death, Diamond Head etc. Now we woke up after a couple hrs rest, blasted the Deutsch anthem and then straight into Offspring. since we didn't eat yesterday we made pork belly ribs for breakfast. now gonna sit around all day and sink piss.

The kennel in town was also really good and I feel so much better for leaving Atreyú there. She asked us not to see him though, as it caused confusion with the dog and will ruin their routine for him..... Works for me. I'm on vacation, he's on vacation, he's someone else's problem. She hasn't rung me so I'm happy. He couldn't care less when he left us anyway, just pulled her along sniffing all the new smells. He cried a little as he heard us start the truck and leave, but I suspicions he's probably secretly loves not having me around to come down on him.

 

If it didn't blow out any windows... you need a bigger amp.

 

It's a 100w Fender. I'm sure the neighbours heard it. I mostly play it through headphones so I can "experiment" in privacy.

 

I rarely use my electric but I love turning it all the way up and playing the opening riff from Smoke On The Water. Cats don't like that tho.

The feline type....beatniks don't like it either though because I'm a lousy guitar player.

 

I lucked out. No hangover. Not even one head pound.

I didn't end up going to beer gardens or festival fair ...rained out, wet, cold , windy.

Ended up at house party. It rocked. They had a frig just full of beer. Good times....

 

My stuff is too "Stoner Rock" for beatniks...
