The poor mama cat just stayed by my side the whole time I was looking...I had the other kittens put up on that porch - where the pic was taken.

I think a hawk, or hawkS got them. They fly around here and the vicinity all the time, screeching and circling and screeching. I'm not planning on letting these babies outside until they are bigger unless I am out there too. dang I let the Mama cat outside, but she wanted back in...and we went through that for a little bit this morning. She is now sitting on a chair out there. I realize that outside cats are subject to this, but usually when they get "cat size", there is much less danger of a hawk getting them in broad daylight. So, I guess I'll have my hands full until "cat size" comes. smh

Hopefully that's the way it'll go...explaining this very rational thought to Mama and getting her to cooperate and not look at me with her "chipmunk eyes" is another thing entirely. It is getting harder and harder to get her to do anything she doesn't want to do. <<< meaning that basically the ONLY thing Mama is going to do is what she wants. period.
