I'm not justifying anything. I'm helping you understand that your justifying what you side does as OK when I thought it was already about 2 miles too far. Your enemy is simply responding. Stop being selective. Being in a restaraunt, filming it, directly confronting and impeding, posting it on social media you left out. As you left out Maxine Waters rantings, the softball shooter etc etc etc. Don't try and downplay it as a singular benign protest outside some restaraunt as being poor innocent peaceful lowly Democrats trying to be heard.

It was bound to escalate. Not shocked at all. You get one group of unstable nuts pushing the limits, you will get an equally unstable enemy of nuts that will figure out the best way to make them stop. It's basic warfare. One side cuts off a finger, the other side cuts off the hand.

Calling them obnoxious yet reasonable is part of the problem. The nation, well a good part of it, has grown weary of obnoxious trouble making loud mouths. Trump won an election from capitalizing on it and I think he has only just begun to capitalize on it.

 

No fingers cut off--just protests. This is the USA, land of the free, First Amendment, & all. On the other hand, bombs are clearly off limits. Don't try to equivocate.

Let's just see how it works out for you. The left has decided it's perfectly legal and OK to use the proposed interperatation of the Constitution to terrorize America. And it's OK to rip off the hat of someone who votes differently. That's not actually assault....cuz well you say so.

Whoever is sending bombs is wrong. I have no problem saying it. At least one of us knows when things have gone too far.

First of all, "the left" is an abstraction, incapable of collective action. Second, how is anyone on the left doing anything to "terrorize" America? In terms of body count, most of the terror seems to be coming from right wingers. Third, that wasn't a "proposed interpretation" of the Constitution. It's settled law. Fourth, it's not OK to rip off someone's hat. That is assault and battery and is subject to civil action and criminal prosecution. So don't put words in my mouth.

I will remind you the softball shooter was a Trump hater. So put the body count in perspective. I expect it to go up as long as your version of the 1st Amendment is practiced.
