People are idiots but I have some sympathy towards pedestrians because I used to exclusively walk or take buses everywhere and drivers are assholes too. So many times I've had the right of way but they still want me to run across even when they still have the red light. Sorry, not rushing for them. They're in a car, they're going to get where they're going faster than I will.

Some dude honked at me the other day as I was running through my neighborhood, and not in a "hey sexy" kind of way but more of a "I have to swerve two entire feet around you and that inconveniences me because i'm a privileged asshole" kind of way. My dog was in the grass and I was on the very edge of the road and he still honked at me to move out of the way. That's a thing that makes me mad!

    I flipped him off

that was probably his first ever "hey sexy" honk and he just didn't quite pull it off right.

either way, your response was the appropriate one.

People who play the victim, and people who use their kids as pawns in a breakup.

So a colleague at my new job sent an article around about how when “women envision themselves as men,” they tend to exhibit more confidence.

I can’t fucking believe someone would send such a misogynistic message out to a staff. I really thought this job was going to be great and it just shows me that the asshole factor really exists everywhere. I don’t know if I should forward this to HR.

You definitely should. Fuck that guy.

  15. I would not forward it on a work account unless you plan to be fully involved. If you want to stay under the radar, get a screen shot of the message that includes everyone it was sent to. Then forward it to HR from an anonymous account (way away from the work network, like a library).

You'd be amazed the changes you can make with a backhanded maneuver every so often.

He probably lives in the neighborhood somewhere. Find him and do this (or maybe have your boyfriend do this):

Speaking of creepy guys. My girlfriend told me today that while she was at work she left her phone at her desk while she went outside for a smoke, and her coworker sat at her desk and started trying to unlock her phone. Someone walked in and he rushed to put it down and then picked it up again and kept trying. She walked in and he didn't even try to hide it. He asked her why her phone was locked and asked if the lockscreen was her girlfriend (it's a picture of me).

She works security and she has the Nest app on her phone so she actually showed me on the camera what he did while she was outside. She's not even friendly with this guy so I don't know why he was trying to get into her phone. In short, nosy people make me mad. Always have, always will.

She should report him to a supervisor, he had no business going through any of her things. she's got evidence to use against the creep. Most disturbing, but nothing that an ass whoopin can't fix.
