Thank you. He's a really strong guy for 75 years old.

I hope he remains so for a long while more.

    Mine is complete.

The final package was delivered yesterday.

  3. Have you ever read Turgenev?
He has a collection of short stories that I remember liking a lot.

    Sketches from a Hunter's Album.

    That's the name.

    Look it up.
I think the collection influenced Chekhov, so you might enjoy it.
I want to reread it, it's been a while.
You can see yourself in the landscapes tawking to peasants and landowners and millers and so on.

Hubby is so angry at my son and his wife.

Hubby hurried to get over and see the grandkids off to school, with me right on his heels, and when he got to their house he found that my son and his wife were both at home so we weren't needed at all.

This sent hubby back here just absolutely fuming! He had an accident with his bowels this morning and worked really hard to get over with the grandkids in spite of it.

It was really inconsiderate of my son and his wife to not let us know that they were home this morning, I agree.

She has a doctor's visit that insurance is requiring, and he was turned around on the way to work being told he wasn't needed today or tomorrow because they need him to work this coming weekend.

Well, you know how it goes.

    Shit rolls downhill.

Seems like there was a reason behind it but at first, it seems inconsiderate. Sorry your day started off this way!

Glad to see you are out of the hospital. Sounded rather scary, waking up in the hospital and not knowing what happened!

Christmas shopping, I not a fan but do get a few items for the family. I tend to make presents, beer, cheese cakes, eggnog etc. I like that aspect of Christmas, gets me in the mood. Made a nice hoppy pale ale last night. Shopping in a mall freaks me out anymore, too many people in panic mode.
