I saw this Italian cooking show and the lady ade French toast but first she whipped the egg whites into peaks and then slowly added the yolks keeping it thick....thn she dipped the bread first into a condensed milk mixture and then the eggs.....frying them up and serving with a raisin based home made sugar syrup.....holy crap it looked good

Puzzles always remind me of my grandmother. Sunny Sunday mornings, post-church, sprawled out doing puzzles by the picture window on a plush pink carpet.

 

my grammas weren't like that....one was a socialite who didnt like kids and didnt even raise her own kids....
we played with the same 3 stupid stuffed animals every time we went there for years on end.....ate from a candy dish you had pry off a piece of that hard candy grandparents have around...…

I had one grandma, who I described doing puzzles with in the other post, and one whom was a cantankerous woman who I never actually met, and who had no interest in meeting me.

 

another ribbon cutting opening a dispensary.. can clearly see the owners eyes lit up with money. They could give a shitless about your medical needs.

 

She wasnt wealthy but she acted it....I have no memory of her smiling and lots of pictures of her not smiling....she was divorced when it wasnt a common thing...like the 40s

Stores downtown actually open today (and next Sunday as well). It's weird to me that 90% of our downtown is closed on Sundays all but two weeks of the year.

I remember when I was a kid, living in Nova Scotia, and the stores were all closed on Sunday. Even grocery stores. When we moved to Ontario it seemed weird that everything was open.

 

2 moves ago I lived south of you at 169 and 69 in Muskoka......I remember the closed sundays well …..people live up there for a reason

This vape cost me $200 and it's going to pay for itself in a couple months for sure. Crazy efficient. I pack a quarter gram in there and it's good for at least a couple of sessions.

I got some oil a couple weeks ago and I didn't like the buzz it gave me. Initially I did, but after a while it just greened me out, it was intense but also didn't last very long. Back to burning in bongs.

I have 3 ounces and a bag of leaf left to get me through to around April, should be plenty plus my own solo plant is growing well I feel.
