it's kind of nice getting free stuff on christmas, but really i'd prefer if gifts weren't even a part of it. it just means you have to go shopping when you don't have time to go shopping, then when you're opening presents you have to pretend to be super excited about getting stuff that you don't really care much about.

This attitude contributes to kids being hurt.

Say a pedo has urges yet does not want to act. Most of them are like this with an understanding that kids can not consent like adults so it's wrong. Who do they tell? Someone like you and they get hurt or killed and they know it. With no one to talk to eventually they act. Kind of like how if an alcoholic has no support from AA he might drink if left alone.

What makes someone "old enough" anyway? That age has changed though time or when you cross a state line. Mary gives birth at 13 in the bible. That's why she is a virgin. Since she has not had a period no man has taken her. In that time 13 is old enough since people die at 31.
