my mom keeps her house pretty chilly, so i will definitely be wearing socks. probably no shoes unless i go out and cut wood for her though.
i was correct. the house was fucking freezing, so i had on socks all day. but nothing else, except for wood cutting time when i put on boots. i don't care how tough your feet are, the wood was on a frozen hillside in a bunch of pricker bushes, so i'm glad i wasn't barefoot.
Very cool - just at home or out and about too? I'm working the rest of the week but it seems to be a very casual week so I've been that way around the office!
i agree, this time of year I'm usually out shoveling snow.....today I went for coffee, to the library and the post office barefoot.....it felt great.
lol My former boss used to walk around the office barefoot when his boss wasn't around. I do venture out a little without shoes, but not too far. I like walking in the grass without shoes, and on clean pavement. But, there are a lot of acorns falling from trees in my 'hood, so it's been challenging to walk past the mailbox without shoes, lately.
Its been a year for a bumper crop of acorns here! We've had a few days of very strong winds over the last coupe of weeks and those little buggers are still falling! Dang they can hurt!
They really do! Maybe we need to figure out what people do to prep for walking over hot coals without flinching.
I have no interest in walking over hot coals, hot pavement in the summer is bad enough! I'd be happy just handling the acorns.
