What's Happening???

I quit dope and tobacco about six weeks ago. My mood dropped, back on tobacco but not dope. Hopefully my brain will sort itself out eventually. I'm thinking I might have to quit booze to get off tobacco now.

 

I'm back on the wagon after a holiday stumble. I made myself sick as f**k.

HouseMouse stole two eggs from me. I'm as good a communist as the next guy, but I specifically wanted those two. Words will be spoken today.

 

I saw you mention that... was gonna say something then but couldn't tell how serious you were (it was stated in an amusing way)

Holidays are tough man... good to see you're dusting yourself off and getting back to it.

I did it maybe 5 times in the late 70's.

I can't say that I did but if I'd gone into the situation with that intention then I might would have.

 

Not much. More social interaction and peopleing today. Hopefully it'll be over with soon so I can go spend New Years with people I can be myself around.

Also still waiting on my ancestry results. I should've known better than to do this at this time of year since those dna kits are apparently the hot gift to give at Christmas for some reason. Like you're 99.9 % broadly European, merry Christmas lol but seriously it's been over a month.

 

I spent xmas eve with liberal people and boxing day eve with people who said they weren't racist but the thing was the problems in the world really are the fault of *insert various racist term here*

All nice people. But such a crazy world.

 

I am lucky that my family is all pretty weird and have their own issues so I think it might be impossible to feel isolated and like an outcast--everyone is too worried about their own worlds exploding to worry about mine.

 

I'm relieved that I long ago stopped having to see my cousins on holidays.

The cousins on my dad's side in no way seem like they could even remotely be kin to me.

The cousins on my mom's side are weird people too but in a much less stuck up way for the most. Two of them seem like they could be related to me but the rest, not so much.

My children didn't spend much time with their cousins when growing up. I'm sure they feel they don't know their cousins.

My grandchildren will at least feel very close to each other on my side of the family. I love that for them.
