I went to a doc today. I've been coughing a good bit for 3 days now. They did the customary check on my lungs & didn't say anything

 

I just watched the new Bronco coach induction. Vic Fangio. I liked him, he was charismatic, he had a sense of humor. Reminded me of a sopranos character.

 

He was the 49ers Defensive Coordinator in those few years at the beginning of the decade when they were really good.

 

He said he's going to be HC and defensive Coordinator. Said he's good at it, he wants to do it so he's going to do it. Fair enough, no questions asked lol. Now we just need to lock in a Offensive Coordinate and we'll be moving a long good.

Yah that 49ers defense in 2011? was historically Good. Like they only let up 1 rushing Touchdown the entire regular season and it came in like the 2nd to last week of the season iirc, against a Vikings team with Adrian Peterson in his prime. They continued being stout halfway through the next season too but when Kaepernick took over, after Alex Smith got injured, and started making more dynamic plays, the defense dropped off for some reason, which eventually caught up with them in the Super Bowl that year.

It was almost as if the defense was more focused with the more limited Quarterback, cause at that time Kaepernick was actually pretty good.
