omg... you don't like star trek? I haven't seen the new series or the oldest one, but the rest are entertaining in my honest opinion.
Space, technology, adventure.. What's not to like for guys! Oh yeah, all the nasty idealism in this scifi setting perhaps :-D It's amazing VG is a fan too
Definitely would only focus on 1 at a time. But if you ever watch another I would recommend watching it in the right order. After seeing so many spots on that ship you start wondering about the exact layout, of course! I too craved more insight at some point and cruised the 90s internet in search of it I also wanted to see a map of our galaxy so I could be sure i had the right idea about the most mentioned planets and quadrants and such. I was so glad with this new invention called internet: i found all of it I also took notice of Star trek PC games and really wanted to play such a game if it ment you could walk around on an Enterprise. But I was never able to get my hands on any. Not sure how satisfying it would be in that regard. You Fuds? I recall you made a comment on Star trek vs. Star wars games so you must have played one! (I only played a couple of Star wars games)
As you probably all know, I have been enjoying Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix. But I'm almost out of episodes! What do you guys think I should watch next? Is "Orange is the New Black" even a consideration? If so, does it normalize criminal attitudes about violence (like for instance what constitutes a reason for a use of force). Any reply is appreciated.
Oh no, I understand the appeal, I really do. I sometimes find myself thinking about whether I'd be useful on the Enterprise, and in what way. Would there be a place for me and my skills? The starship is fascinating. I like lil glimpses into their everyday life, and seeing their rooms (some of those fabrics look uncomfortable af though - whatever happened to high quality cotton bedding?). I also like that they engage in various activities, like plays, music performances, painting...and I appreciate mentions of literature, art and all that jazz. I guess I should have worded my question a bit differently - what's with guys when it comes to women who happen to like star trek.
