When I volunteered in a memory care facility once I found the residents could recall moments from their youth with crystal clear clarity sometimes.
Alzheimers is such a weird disease. Weird and horrible.

This one woman was bonking a guy there, she was 100 and he was 80 and she always bragged about being with a younger man . She wasnt in the memory care unit though, she was sharp as a tack.

I miss volunteering with the elderly, I loved them and all their stories. I often like old people a lot better than young people

Well, the words 'being stuck in' imply something different.
I want to add just to be clear I don't think this applies 100% on rolling just because he mentions things that happened decades ago regularly. Maybe we will do that too in the future (and annoy the youngsters with it )
