What I'm saying is that the excuse given for building the Berlin wall was to keep undesirables from crossing from West Berlin into East Berlin. We know that wasn't true, but that was the reason given. Trump's excuse for building the Mexican wall is to keep undesirables from crossing from Mexico into the U.S. We know that isn't true as there are many other ways of establishing a rational border policy, but that is the reason Trump is giving because he made a stupid campaign promise calculated to scare people by using lies, untruths, fear, and racism...and now he's stuck with it. Same B.S.
Can’t we just zap brown people with lasers from space or something? No wall, everyone wins. Except the people getting zapped, anyway.
The Republican "public" statements are not often found on CNN. There the Republicans "tone it down" to give appearance that they are more mainstream. The real bigoted stuff from the bigoted Republicans can be heard on WOWO...a local am radio station which covers most of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and even Pennsylvania and New York.
Obviously not true??? Well...since we are talking about obviously not true...It was obviously not true when Trump said, "Mexico Is Going To Pay For That Wall!"
Trump picks ex-oil lobbyist David Bernhardt for Interior secretary By Timothy Cama and Miranda Green 02/04/19 03:21 PM EST Trump picks ex-oil lobbyist David Bernhardt for Interior secretary
In Colorado the oil people are starting to drill next to the sacred Cache Le Poudre River and next to neighborhoods. When they did that up near Rifle, the entire valley smelled like a refinery. The stink of gas was unbearable. My Buddy up there said their water turned into a caustic chemical compound.
Trump Inaugural Committee Ordered to Hand Over Documents to Federal Investigators By Maggie Haberman and Ben Protess Feb. 4, 2019 Trump Inaugural Committee Ordered to Hand Over Documents to Federal Investigators
Trump says he 'never meant Mexico would write a check' for the wall Kevin Breuninger Published 11:15 AM ET Thu, 10 Jan 2019 Updated 4:27 PM ET Thu, 10 Jan 2019 Trump says he 'never meant Mexico would write a check' for the wall excerpt: "The Trump administration has provided scant detail about how the USMCA would lead Mexico to pay for the wall, or if the increased revenue from the NAFTA replacement would actually reimburse the U.S. taxpayers who would directly fund the wall's construction. Once in Texas, Trump insisted again that, "When I say Mexico's going to pay for the wall, that's what I mean." "I didn't mean, 'Please write me a check.' I mean very simply, they're paying for it in the trade deal," he added."
Trumpers are so hot over the Dem KKK pic. Yet the ignore stories like this. The elephant in the room of elephants. One party allows literal Nazis to join. One says it's member must resign over a racist pic. Yet the Nazis are fine since Democrats liked slavery. You can't fix stupid as a Republican comedian once said. Like the disconnect to judge your enemy for something yet do it yourself is tremendous. Stories like this are why they have no minority vote not because Democrats exploit them. Texas Republicans Are Lying About Voter Fraud to Justify a Massive, Racist Voter Purge
The power of the KKK in Indiana is hard to understand. They even have Sheriffs and Judges on their side. They are proud of their Invisible Empire.
No one who has served as a lobbyist for any organization that has ever actively lobbied the Federal Government at any time in their lives should be allowed to serve in the US House, Senate or executive branch of our government whether they're Democrat, Republican or Independent it doesn't matter. It's time to end the cronyism we've seen in government and return power back the citizens. The revolving door in American government needs to be closed.
You joke but I've seen a large amount of Facebook posts that say that. They don't want a wall to scare them from coming they want the joy of shooting them and watching them die on electric fences as they still try. It speaks to the cruel nature of Trump voters. .
is it over yet? chump's mock of the union address? anybody watch it? since its supposed to be on now, what i hurd a couple of days ago had to have been premature. i ask because i don't have tv that works. i am sort of looking forward to the reply, which i've seen teasers for.
The Sheriff of El Paso just issued a statement saying everything that Trump claimed about El Paso's city safety before and after their wall is false. Senator from Hawaii said WFT! And there was more BS which would be in the papers this morning.
Here's a fact check, I checked. Trump: "1 in 3 women is sexually assaulted on the long journey north." True, that's why they travel in caravans, for safety. "Year after year, countless Americans are murdered by criminal illegal aliens." B.S. "The border city of El Paso, Texas, used to have extremely high rates of violent crime -- one of the highest in the country, and considered one of our nation's most dangerous cities. Now, with a powerful barrier in place, El Paso is one of our safest cities." More B.S. "The lawless state of our southern border is a threat to the safety, security and financial well-being of all Americans." Guess what? B.S. "I want people to come into our country, in the largest numbers ever, but they have to come in legally." Baloney. "In just over two years since the election, we have launched an unprecedented economic boom -- a boom that has rarely been seen before." He hasn't screwed up Obama's recovery yet. "We have unleashed a revolution in American Energy -- the United States is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world." True. but that is due to fracking technology, not anything Trump has done. We have "added 600,000 new manufacturing jobs. Something which almost everyone said was impossible to do, but the fact is we are just getting started." The real number is 454,000. Falling oil prices deserve some credit. "No one has benefited more from our thriving economy than women, who have filled 58% of the newly created jobs last year. All Americans can be proud that we have more women in the workforce than ever before." The number of women in the workforce has dropped since 2000. Other advanced nations out do us in this area. "More people are working now than at any time in our history. 157 million people at work." True, but many of the f the jobs aren't the greatest and percentage wise we have lost jobs. "I know that Congress is eager to pass an infrastructure bill," Trump said, "and I am eager to work with you on legislation to deliver new and important infrastructure investment, including investments in the cutting-edge industries of the future." His plan is to make local an state governments pay for that stuff by paying four times what the fed would contribute. Also privatize a bunch of stuff. "It is unacceptable that Americans pay vastly more than people in other countries for the exact same drugs, often made in the exact same place. This is wrong, this is unfair, and together we will stop it." His proposal... "As a result of my administration's efforts, in 2018 drug prices experienced their single largest decline in 46 years." True...but "We have spent more than $7 trillion dollars in the Middle East," Trump said of the conflicts "in Afghanistan and Iraq." A lie. First of all Afghanistan isn't in the Middle East. Real cost $1.6 trillion, so he's off a wee bit. "When I took office, ISIS controlled more than 20,000 square miles in Iraq and Syria. Just two years ago. Today, we have liberated virtually all of the territory from the grip of these bloodthirsty monsters." True, but he didn't repeat that they were defeated. "If I had not been elected President of the United States, we would right now, in my opinion, be in a major war with North Korea." Whatever. "We are also getting other nations to pay their fair share. Finally. For years, the United States was being treated very unfairly by friends of ours -- members of NATO. But now we have secured, over the last couple of years, more than $100 billion of increase in defense spending from our NATO allies. They said it couldn't be done." NATO is spending more. That was started by George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Trump declared that the US is withdrawing from the 1987 Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, adding that "while we followed the agreement to the letter, Russia repeatedly violated its terms." True. "This new era of cooperation can start with finally confirming the more than 300 highly qualified nominees who are still stuck in the Senate — in some cases years and years waiting. Not right. The Senate has failed to act on these nominations, which is unfair to the nominees and very unfair to our country. Now is the time for bipartisan action." First the Senate is controlled by his own party. 274 positions, not 300, haven't been confirmed. 144 because Trump hasn't nominated anybody.
