I live in the windiest place in Ontario and I am under a high wind warning atm

 

my neighbor just sent me this from mexico…..people would flip out if someone tried to build pool/resort beside a beach here in Canada....cant do that to nature any more here

I think I like that. Let the beach be.

Honestly, I think people can make the walk from a hotel/resort to the beach.
And if you're gonna sit there by the freakin pool while looking at the ocean/sea, what's the point?

Everytime I see an ugly hotel/resort ON a beach in Croatia or Spain (lots of those there), I cringe.
And if it's not ugly now, it's gonna be ugly in 30 years.

If you want to be on a beach, then move your ass and go to the beach.

 

Sorry, just venting.
I like nature, I like the sea, I like imperfect beaches and their scent.

 

My microwave just died. It says it was manufactured in 1995, so I guess it had a good life.

I am now experiencing sideways snow...like its coming off the lake...flying by my window and going elsewhere

 

Doesn't that have more to do with Canada having not as much beach weather as Mexico

 

lake louise is supposed to nice any weather....friend of little brothers was bar manager for years here...they built this ia hundred years ago ut notice its the only one....it is a national park area

I can hear gentle chirruping coming down the chimney. It's funny because it's not the kind of bird song I'd be able to hear if I went outside, loud enough to carry.. It's quiet and conversational.. There must be two of them up there. I feel like I'm eavesdropping

 

It looks great, also in winter but you know what i mean with Mexico and it being more suitable most time of the year for a typical beach holiday.
